Nice to see the Mousers. They look awesome.

Once again I am confused...the Turtles have all red bandanas on the #8 cover....but colored bandanas on Infestation!

Are we ever going to solve the mystery of the colored bandanas? Find out...next time.

Toby Barrett 12-15-2011 10:44 AM

Perhaps they'll keep their red bandanas in the main comic, and color coded bandanas are regulated to the micro issues and special titles.

Cowabunga Carl 12-15-2011 10:59 AM

Or maybe the color bandana's are only inside the title and the covers don't matter.

oldmanwinters 12-15-2011 11:24 AM

The spoiler makes it official! The mousers are out of the bag!

Hermano Dyvas 12-15-2011 11:25 AM

Is it just me or does Duncan's style seem to get better with each issue. The cover with the mousers looks great.

Grimlock 12-15-2011 11:28 AM

Mousers! I am loving Duncan's covers. Such a dynamic style.

Andrew NDB 12-15-2011 11:43 AM

His faces and shells (the plastrons, namely) have improved considerably.

Weapons@theready 12-15-2011 11:50 AM

why does the TMNT Infestation #1 cover seem familiar to me?

Venom 12-15-2011 11:53 AM

Mousers are so awesome, the perfect little fodder for slicin' and dicin'!

So far I'm not seeing a lot in the way of "ninja action" in any covers or solicits, and now here come the Mousers. As cool as they are, they are just little robots. I'm still very curious to see how true, full-on ninja fighting is going to be handled in the book with other ninja, both tonally and graphically... jury's still out.

well, I for one am content to the hat with my idw turtles series!;)looking good there, but say, where exactly do you see colored bandanas on the cover artwork for infestation????is it just me or do I clearly detect them all sporting red there..I mean I am able to see colors, but you all say different?!?!

That particular cover has red bandanas. But tall the others have muti-colored bandanas on the covers as well as the interior art.

Clearly all red to me... but the cover with Leo by himself is obviously blue.

Cowabunga Carl 12-15-2011 01:40 PM

Just saying if you think about the series so far the covers don't necessarily coincide with what's been inside so far.

That's true of any comic anywhere since forever. Covers shouldn't be used as evidence for anything, one way or the other.

True, but lately the covers have been relevant to what's been happening in the actual issues instead of just cool looking pin-ups. And besides that, why not put colored coded bandanas on the cover if they're using them in the interiors already?

the mousers looks like exactly as they were in the 2K3 series. Also why we call them mousers they dont look like mouse. if you look at them more carefuly they look more like little dogs than mouses. even in the 1987 and 2003 series they looked more dogs than mousers. anyone else realized that?

In the Mirage comics, Baxter creted them to solve New York's Mouse/Rat problem. Hence the name ''Mousers''. Plus, with Splnter being a rat it tied in nicely.

Cowabunga Carl 12-15-2011 02:01 PM

I just think using the covers for the basis of the argument about colored bandanas doesn't make any sense. I mean the covers all look great, but they are to grab attention not tell the story inside. Maybe the thinking is that until the majority of people realize they are changing colors that they will leave the red ones on the cover. I mean to a casual reader who comes in and sees something different on a book they might think it's a new series and that they have missed a few issues.
