Kowabunga Crappin' Turtles...
I don't know if you've ever heard of these. They're actually called "Kowabunga Crackin' Turtles," and I'm quite certain that I've seen them sold in stores, and I think it was at a reduced price. I guess they're supposed to represent the turtles hatching out of their eggs. Since they can't actually show egg shells, though; it just looks like they're emerging from their turtle shells. I never really thought much about them again until I saw the way they look when they've unfolded:
Either I have a really filthy mind, or the sculptor did.
Can I really be the only one who sees some strong unintentional(?) humor in these toys? Seeing the turtles in a semi-squatting pose wouldn't be funny on its own. However, the way their faces are sculpted in such stressful expressions makes it appear that these turtles are constipated and trying to take a dump. Please tell me I'm not all alone in seeing that!
