Extreme facial swelling/rash
 

Woke up a few days ago with small bumps on my face (hives?). Within 24 hours I am as swollen as can be. My right eye can barely open.

Anyone have any home-remedies for extreme swelling? Would be greatly appreciated!

Only thing I could recommend would be to go to a doctor! Sounds pretty serious, and I wouldn't be waiting around if it was me...

I agree with DT here. You better get that checked out. Sounds bad. Could it be an allergic reaction to something?

I think you're past the point of a ''home remedies''. Why are you asking this on a turtles forum? Your freakin eye can't open!? Go to the hospital.

I had cronic hives for awhile....hives aren't little bumps. They're plaques that are itchy as hell. My face also swelled sometimes. The only thin that helped me was antihystamines (allergy medicines). I used Zyrtec and allegra constantly.

You absolutely should go to the doctor, but if it is hives they won't be able to do anything but give you an allergy test. In my case I came up with no allergies so they basically just shrugged and wished me good luck. I had that sh!t for 5 years then one day it just stopped.
