What size is this figure anyway, 4/6/12 inch? I'd like the figure more if the head would resemble it's comic counterpart more. I mean, character is recognisable, but it should look more like Duncans art...

Sweet! What figure did you use for the base?

I had a 2007 Shredder missing all of his armor, so I used that as the base. I thought it would be fun to incorporate the blades on one arm into the custom as the throwing stars he gets hit with in issue 4.

This is a relatively fun and easy custom to make, not to mention a cheap one. All you need is a 2007 Shredder as well as several different colors of Model Magic, and Mod Podge (a clear drying artwork fixitive) to seal off pieces that have been "added on."

Topsu-- I'm well aware of the short-comings of this custom, and plan on doing another one in the near future if the other 2007 Shredder I have doesn't sell on ebay.

The figure measures roughly 6 and 3/4 inches tall.

Nice work on this Hob. Hopefully we will get an actual figure someday if he is still relevant in the near future.

I've got another one in the works, I'm not going with the blades this time and I'm going to try to make the pants more accurate.

Looks like he'd fit right in with nick's new cgi cartoon.

The execution and effort is definitely there, I applaud you for that. Only thing I would personally want to see is to capture his grit, he looks a little to polished (than what is seen in the comic). ill figure nonetheless...

This one DOES look better for the most part-- I'll post pics either tonight or tomorrow morning. The head in particular looks MUCH better...
