Anyone notice the Shredder!

I thought Michaelangelo and Donatello were suppose to have blades on their weapons for this series???

Shredder looks odd and out of place.

Wow, Shredder looks very unfinished ^^

Pretty sure he won't look anything like that in the finished series, but now that I've seen some piece of Art of him for the new Show I'm pretty sure that the Nick Series will pretty much be a Reimagine of the Fred Wolf Toon8)

Alright, I want the fans who attended the Nick Fan Preview to chime in with whether this Shredder resembles the designs they saw!

He certainly seems to like his burgundy long-johns, doesn't he?

Right, but still.

Don's bo has a hidden blade and Mike's chucks can extend and reveal a hidden blade.

As for Shredder, he looks a little unpolished compared to what I saw at the live event, but the design is all the same and whatnot.

I read this today! Shredder looks great. I am getting used to the style way way too simple and N64 looking.. I like but the animation with Mikey last week it gave me a lot more faith. As long as the stories are entertaining its all that matters.

The ride itself looks awesome. You get strapped into a shell and hang with your feet dangling. It looks like each pod is a different Turtle and has their bandanas and weapons. Very cool.

I would mostly second this. He looks like he may not be fully rendered with all the textures, but I think that's more or less what we were shown.

Remembering details like that from both events at this point is kinda hard.

Oh, and if anyone goes, don't expect too much "thrill" from the ride. I grew up in the Twin Cities and have been to MOA a billion times. All of the rides (this one is in the place of the old Mighty Ax ride) are pretty tame, but I'm sure it'll be a fun go.

When it opens I should be able to solicit a friend to go out and take pictures. And eventually I'll be back there to visit, myself.

Oh, Rose, and here I thought we kept you on retainer salary for your photographic memory of all things TMNT? :P

I'm curious about those symbols on his belt. Japanese symbols perhaps?

Haha. Facts and trivia I'm pretty good at. Actual photos that I only saw for a few minutes, not so much. ^_^

If only the N64 were nearly as clean looking as the CG Turtles...

Shredder's chest plate makes him look like he has breasts. (I'm not saying he does - don't take that statement literally)

Yeah if Conkers Bad Fur Day had HD output it would blow these designs away. I actually like how the turtles look clean and am looking forward to the show but still they are very very plain.

By that logic, if the NES had HD output it'd look like Castle Crashers or Shank.

Shredder looks absolutely disgusting. Seriously!?!?!?!?!?!? This is a joke, right? What's with the oversized EVERYTHING on him? That is supposed to be the "scariest" version of him yet??? I certainly hope this isn't anywhere close to his final design. It's just cheap and horrendous looking. This makes the 3 toe thing look brilliant in my opinion. I just don't get it....honestly, he looks like something from a really, really cheap dumbed down kid's show. This leaves me with little faith in Nick's decisions. Sorry for venting and being negative, but I honestly just don't see one thing positive in his design.

The lighting had a lot to do with it at the event. Sort of like Batman's costume. Ever seen Christian Bale set pics while he's in his Batman costume? He looks goofy, but Batman looks pretty cool in the movies.

And considering TMNT's most popular variation was a dumbed down kids show I wouldnt call that a BAD thing.

I think shredder looks kind of alright. We just need to see him in motion, then judge.
