Flash Bonus TMNT Redesign Challenge - Movie - TOKKA

BONUS, TOKKA almost won the character poll, so I think that it would be fun to make a Bonus Redesign, dedicated to this Movie character, TOKKA.

So do it in 14 days, if you dare.

This time I will not give references you are on your own.

Se TMNT II Movie or lurk the net, this is for Hardcore, if you don´t know TOKKA you don´t deserve to participate LOL (Powder will love this "no casuals" attitude)

Art Submissions End Date: 15th March 2012.

All people who choose to participate will have 14 days to come up with a redesign for the given character.
You can use any medium you wish.
You can sketch, paint, make a 3-D model, make a sprite, make a custom action figure, whatever you want.
Its entirely up to you!

If you have done a backstory for your redesigns and want to see it submitted with your art, please embed it in the picture.

You can post any number of redesigns you want and chose if it will be submitted to the contest poll, but when nothing is mentioned by the submitter, they will be always considered submissions.
Will only be considered a maximum of 2 finished Art submissions per participant for the contest poll.

All submissions made after the end date will not be considered, so please don´t post more art if the deadline ended.

As well, you don't have to force yourself to make your design conform to any new or old cartoon or comic book's style.
Be as drastic in your redesign as you see fit. Whatever makes you happy.

If you can't think of a new design, or just hate the idea of working on this character, you do not have to feel obligated to participate in this particular challenge.
You will still be free to participate in any future challenges you wish.

When the 10 days end, the contest poll will be post with the submissions during 5 days.
The winner of the contest poll can have bragging rights about it

Art Submissions End Date: 15th March 2012.

I'm not a big fan of these surprise challenges, especially not their shorter deadlines. I may give it a go regardless, though. We'll see.

Normally, I'd be all over this one. But I don't think that I'll be able to submit anything. I just don't have the time.

I'm with powder here though, if the deadlines are too short, the submissions will suffer. We'll probably won't have alot of subs and the quality might suffer too.

I'd keep these challenges to 14 days.

You know I always count with your "true to the bone" opinion, sometimes we agree sometimes not, I appreciate that you can express yourself with the truth.

These challenges have growth with your help, and your art also growth enormously since that draw I colored for you (http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?t=30073), I like to think that this forum is making us better my friend.

I also think that these challenges have brought something fresh to all fans her, that celebrate art and TMNT, by not only lurking for fan art but also producing new and vibrant fan art, and like you, developing talents.

Hey Ulisses, yeah it's been long! I've been meaning to participate since day one, but I'm often too busy with work. I happen to be ill at the moment, so I can't make it to work, but I sure can draw!

In fact, it's pretty much finished already. Just a few little details and I'll be done.

Ok, so here's my submission. All feedback is welcomed. I hope I'm not the only one in this challenge, I've seen you guys come out with awesome designs pretty much every single time!

I have no idea of how to crop the image whatsoever, so I'm sorry if it comes out too big. Also, sorry for the double post, but the thread is quite dead...

Orbus's submission doesn't seem to introduce anything especially new, but it is still one of the best pieces of Tokka art that I've ever seen!

That is true. All I did was try to get rid of that clunky look of him, and introduce a couple of references, but it's not that much of a redesign.
