Unexpected Technodrome theme music.....
 

I was having a fit of nostalgia just now while watching an old promotional video for the Turbo Graphx 16.....my friends down the street had the system, so I lived vicariously through them. Anyway, I did a double take (listen...?!) at the 16:05 mark of the below video...

I always liked that Technodrome Riff. It's not the same as the one used in this video, but does have a similar effect on my brain. Pretty cool!

It might not be the EXACT one they used in the cartoon, but it is indeed the exact same riff. Listen to it closely and you'll hear what I'm saying. It also quickly blends into different music after about 3-4 seconds.

This reminds me of the time I thought I heard the opening riff of the TMNT theme song in Bohemian Rhapsody.

When the Atlanta Braves played the Giants the last two years everytime their Japanese native pitcher batted a piano instrumental was played over the intercom. It was distint enough to be heard on television. Thought I was hearing something but it really was. Unfortunately the guy is no longer with them.
