Excellent work! Where did you get the armor from? Or did you make it?

That's amazing. Well done, my friend.:tthumbsu::tthumbsu:

Indeed, very nice. :D

That's awesome, I'm showing Frank. Is it possible to fashion him a purple cape? That would complete the Image Raph Shredder look.
|
That's awesome looking custom with clean sculpting work, I especially like the head!
|
This is great man! Looks Amazing! all you need now is a purple cape
|
Talked to Frank. He really digs it and concurs about the cape, if possible.

@Andrew NDB, if i had of ever known that Frank Fosco was gonna see this custom i would have tried to give the armour more of a Image look. i dont have any purple materail so this is the best i can do for now. http://i646.photobucket.com/albums/u...tomcape009.jpg |
I love that custom so much! Fantastic work, friend... especially as that's your first custom figure. I think you're lying about that. ;)
And you say you made the armor (including the hand claws) with apoxie sculpt? How sturdy do the claws feel? I'm always skittish about sculpting thin pointed pieces like that with it. |
Looks even better now! very intimidating :shredder:
I also love the fact that hes holding his bandanna, very nice touch |
This really cool and a very original custom design to tackle, you nailed it though. I don't have volume 3 anymore to compare but I think I would have added more scarring to the burnt side of his face but that is just me. Great job on the sculpting of the armor, great GREAT custom way to go. :tgrin:

Yes i made all the armour with apoxie sculpt, for the hand claws i used strong wire to start with and scuplted the apoxie around that, all the armour feels strong and when i pose the figure nothing feels like its gonna snap off. http://i646.photobucket.com/albums/u...omnecatmnt.jpg http://i646.photobucket.com/albums/u...stomwip004.jpg Quote:

Thanks for the info on your sculpting method (and the additional pics)! Another question -- how'd you paint the plastron? I'm guessing with an airbrush? That looks really nice. |
