Do you hide your tmnt interest from the real world?
 

I was just wondering do you guys/girls openly talk about tmnt outside of the forums?

I do if asked I'll admit I still watch it and that I'm into it. I don't make it a secret my friends and family know it.

Nah, most of my co-workers know I'm into the Turtles. Sometimes with some obnoxious results.

No I talk about them as if "TMNT" was tattooed on my chest :lol: usually my friends will try to agitate me and say "They aren't real hereos" or something like that :lol:

No, LOL, not even. On new-issue days, my ritual is to pick it up at Legacy and walk over to Jax (a bar) and read it amongst all the corporate drones.

If you know me more than by "that random person who always carries a sketchbook," then you know I love the turtles. I wear the shirts, the hats, heck even my book bag is shaped like a turtle shell! Why hide what I am? I am fan of the TMNT! Got a problem with it, hope not because there isn't a thing you can do about it!:twink:
So I guess what I am saying is, no I do not hide it from the real world.:P

Nope! And my DVDs are proudly displayed in the living room too! Plus my multiple ninja turtles shirt. I'm not crazy about it. It's pretty casual but it's common knowledge to people that know me!:tcool:

Helllllllllll no. I own over 40 TMNT t-shirts and have the boys tattooed on me. That should speak volumes.

I don't hide it, but most people I know don't really care about the Turtles beyond, "Did you know that Michael Bay's making a new TMNT?" So, I tend to not do a lot of Turtle Talk with most people.

Hide it? Heck no! In fact, it's almost something I use to gauge whether or not I'll get along with someone. If they're like "Aw, Ninja turtles, heck yeah!", then they're aces in my book. If someone says "Ninja Turtles? What are you, a nerd? That's baby stuff.", then just keep on walking, I'd rather not even talk to you. lol. :tlol:

Nobody expect it! Most the time they dont know what to answer...... Sometimes insteed ....Im the surprised one when I meet another TMNT hidden fan!!!!!!! (of course they only showed themselfs when you did it before!!!! :tlol::tlol::tlol: )

used to try to hide it when everyone else "outgrew" turtles, but after a while I said screw it

I used to. Then I got a ninja turtles hoodie in high school and instead of being made fun of everyone used to compliment me on it. I eventually kept growing my TMNT wardrobe and I was never afraid to cake my room in turtles stuff. No one has ever given me crap for being a TMNT fan. In fact it's opened many doors and lead to a lot of compliments.
