Pittsburgh comic con

So anyone every go? Ive never been and want to go this year. Just want to know if it's worth a 3 1/2 hr trip.

I went this year. But it happened like two weeks ago. Sorry, you missed it dude. It was a pretty good convention though. This year seemed much busier than last year, probably because Stan Lee was there. As for whether it's worth it, I drove about 2.5 hours with some friends, and it was worth it for me. I didn't buy a whole lot, but I met some good artists and saw some old friends.

O I was talking about the steel city con that's in July. Is that the same thing?

MrPliggins 05-03-2012 08:00 AM

Oh ok..that's different. I think it happens 2 or 3 times a year. I believe it takes place in the same convention center, though. I've never been to the SCC, so I can't vouch for its awesomeness. I think it's smaller than the PCC, with more of a focus on toys.

steel city con is a lot of fun- i have a table there where i sell nothing but TMNT :) it is always a great time- i would recommend it for a low key good time. http://www.steelcitycon.com/

Well that sucks that I missed comic con but I think im going to hit that up in july then.

1 question do people dress up at it?

mysterycolor 05-03-2012 02:46 PM

absolutely, there were plenty of people dressed as their favorite characters... in march a chick working at the table across from me was dressed as poison ivy, the hottest poison ivy ever!! ;) hope to see you there!
