I find it kinda funny that Dr. Dome and his Domoids get so much screentime on the cover, I bet Peter Laird will like that.

I love the Shredder clones.

What issues are they from? I'm currently at issue 37, (reading them as I manage to find them)

and didn't think that this volume would go that far. (also I didn't think Kevin and Peter did anything from like RTNY until shades of gray)

after closer consideration it looks like the whole thing is self contained.

Its issue 12, 13, 15, 17, and Return to New York.

Issue #14, #16 and #18 are coming separately in a standard trade paperback.

Wow, never thought I'd see an Eastman style drawing of the Justice Force characters! I kinda wonder how Peter Laird feels about it.

Yeah it doesn't look like this cover will actually connect with the other 2 covers. I'm still miffed that they color the turtles skin in all different greens. This wasn't so if I recall in the Mirage comics (well covers anyway). Ever since the 2K3 cartoon and now the IDW comics it seems to be like this.

Actually blame the Playmates toys all the way back in the 80's

sweet cover... does anyone have the connecting images of this cover with the previous two books? Or is it nonconnecting?

It's non-connecting, which makes sense being the center volume bookended with Ult. Coll. 1 & 2 on one side and City At War's Ult. Coll. 4 & 5 on the other.

Awesome cover, and really excited to see how IDW handles these issues and future Ultimate Collection volumes. I'm still incredibly miffed that IDW used the same damn lousy scans that Mirage did for their 2009 TPB, so hopefully IDW will have done all-new scans for future collections and those'll all look splendid.

Still massive bowlsheet that the first two Ultimate Collections look so bad, though. Great printing materials, but awful reproductions of the comics.

I am excited for this volume because outside of the first 11 issues I have not gotten to read volume 1.

I am a little sad I can't read them all in numerical order but i get the impression it doesn't matter to much per say.

Nice. I would have liked seeing the 2nd volume of tales number 70(RTNY retcon issue) included, even though I understand it wasn't released back then, it still seems to me that it fits in there. I'm still buying this book though. The first 2 are amazing. :D

oh ok... still badass looking though. i'd totally get it still.:D

I wish they'd make posters/prints of these. I'm not buying the books but the covers are freakin' godly. I LOVE this new one.

luckily I've started saving awhile ago. I also have to get the other trade paperbacks.

I wasn't going to get the books at first either due to how many times I own these issues already, but I caved and picked them up and now could never stop from buying the next ones.

They're also the easiest to pull out simply to read the stories again.
