IDW Ultimate Collection SDCC Exclusive
 

Sorry in advance if posted elsewhere. IDW has listed for pre-order the Ultimate Collection v.1-3 exclusive with black and white cover. Only 40 of these were made, and are available only for pick up at SDCC. Pre-order is on the IDW website. Limit 1 per attendee. Ordered mine this a.m.

uggh...why is living on the East Coast rarely a good thing

That's cool and all but I'm not going to SDCC and I'm not dropping 200 bucks for a slipcase and a cover variant. Had I known about this before I bought the other books maybe. However buying them all from Amazon cost under 100 so its a tough sell there.

Fortunately, I had not purchased the other two volumes yet. Looking forward to grabbing the set and getting it signed by Kevin at the convention.

Mark my words, these will be available on the Idw website after the convention. I will pick it up then.

I wouldn't doubt it. $200 though? Ouch!

Yeah, if I were to even be interested, it better already have a full colored drawing of a Turtle in there somewhere. I'm guessing it's tailored for the 'completist'. I just don't see the appeal. But more power to ya if you do.

If money isn't an issue, and you want something a bit rarer, why not, huh? Especially if you are looking for the volumes and have't bought 'em yet. No way I would miss this.

Where did the 40 number come from?

Well, yeah, either a completist, or if you haven't gotten any of the comics or volumes, sure.

Actually looking at what it is. If it were full colored and had some kind of exclusive bonus material I'd pay 200$ and that's provided I could afford it. I'm an eighteen year old bartender and I live by myself, funny thing is I'm better off than a lot of comic fans. Idk who they're selling to.

That's what I was saying. If it had lots of exclusive stuff inside, including something by Eastman (at least a full body drawing), even I'd be all over it.

Well with an edition of 40, they don't really need to think too hard about demographic. I'm sure they'll dig up 40 completionists

I'm sure Kevin will be sketching at sdcc...
