Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest

so- i always enjoy this and find it a bit of an interesting sport, certainly look forward to it each 4th of July. I am a fan of Tim Janus (eater X) though he has never won the this title- he is still pretty awesome to watch! So I am just wondering if any other dromers are into it? do you have a favorite competitive eater? All opinions welcome! Happy 4th of July!!

Nah, I barely pay attention to it. I think it's interesting and fun, but I don't really tune in or anything.

well if you are ever asked Joey Chestnut won for the men's competition and Sonya Thomas took it for the ladies :)

I knew about Chestnut. He wins a lot. Kobayashi also had a good record for it, too. We do have Nathan's hot dogs though. They're pretty good.

it is a shame that Kobayashi could not reach an agreement to be able to compete... certainly couldve given Chestnut a run for his money much more than Janus did.

Joey Chestnut is an American hero!

Kudos to Sonya The Black Widow for eating (I think) 45 dogs in the women's competition. I always remembered Sonya competing in the main tournament and usually finishing in the Top 5. Was the women's contest a new addition this year?

the women's competition started in 2011- they get a pink belt .

and you may think chestnut rocks- but eater x is my hero in the world of competitive eating lol
