With all the OT influence, is it safe to say Baxter will be mutated into a fly?
 

The Nick show apparently has more OT influence then originally expected, with Dimension X, Traag, etc. all apparently showing up.

I believe Baxter will do the usual mouser and robot suit routine for the first half of Season 1, and then in the second half he'll be turned into a mutant fly.

I think Baxter would look awesome in CG in his mutated form too.

You thought that was one of the weakest point of the OT? Are you joking? Baxter being a fly was one of the most popular aspects of the series.

I could see Fly Baxter as a punishment...if Baxter works for Shredder.

What if Baxter works with April's father? What if he is set up BY Baxter? You know, Baxter is the guy behind helping the Kraang abduct him.

Well where would the mutagen come from? Its almost always supplied by Krang, the Utroms or Dimension X.

Fly Baxter would be cool to see again. I would love to see if he was a fly cyborg though if something was to happen to him.

Isn't the Kraang/Shredder connection still intact in this series?

I think so, but you said Baxter would work for April's dad rather than Shredder.

On that note since in IDW Baxter works for Krang, I can see something similar here.

I don't know about the whole fly aspect of the character. It just seems like it has been done. Just like I don't want to see him become a cyborg again.

In my brain, I assume he works with Mr. O'Neil, kinda undercover, and is really working for the Kraang.

I'd hope so, Fly Baxter was one of the best things the OT came up with, while his tragedy of becoming a robot is alright, I much prefer the mutation angle. A nice transition is while trying to re-create his body he accidentally merges with a fly.

I hope so. So long as he looks cool and sort of in the spirit of the old toon and not some crazy reinterpretation that removes the core essence of the concept.

There's significantly less OT influence than I assumed there'd be. I don't think it's a given he'll become a fly.
