Actually, they don't even sell #30 anymore. Volume 4 is apparently selling well with the hype of the upcoming show and current IDW series. :tgrin:

i'd be willing to pay through paypal or possibly trade a unopened/sealed 4-pack TMNT set (red masks) from Neca that i am the original owner of.

no, it's alright, man. i was more than happy to trade my Neca set for the issue of Vol.4 #29.
that comic becoming more and more rare you just never see it anymore

i wanted to finally complete my Volume 4 set, and the copy of 29 is in great shape with a Peter Laird head sketch on the cover.

That set you traded off recently sold for prices like $212, $240, $325, & $350.

Do your research! This literally hurts to read...

i did see how much the Neca set was selling for on ebay, and that's what made me decide to trade it.

i've seen Vol. 4 #32 selling between $100 - $150, and Vol. 4 #30 selling for $169.
issue #29 isn't even listed in most online stores anymore.

the only time i'd recently seen #29 was in a full complete vol 4 set listed as a 'buy it now' for about $900.
the set was purchased before i even clicked to view the listing.

the trade was an easy decision for me.

You really shouldn't try to explain yourself. #29 is one of the rarest books at all. I recently saw one being sold for 400 Euros. Glad to hear that you completed your collection finally.

Yeah, I haven't seen #29 on eBay go for less than $300 lately, unless I missed one, so you at least got a fair deal and maybe even a great one.

yeah i'm not sure why that one guy is trying to rain on my parade? i'm extremely happy, and Gooseatello should also be very happy once his package arrives today.

issue #29 was after all the return of TMNT Volume 4 after the long hiatus, and a lot of people like myself were totally in the dark!

thanks again! ^_^ i was SO nervous to even tough the comic for fear of spoiling the condition. buy then i just started reading and enjoying it. :)

that DR Spengler (TMNTentity guy) is SO awesome for posting his Blog!
he recently did a review for issue #29 and one of his followers shared this archived link to from Mirage to read the comic. :D

and the thing is that even though part of me misses that Neca set, i never even got to enjoy the feeling of taking them out of the box or displaying them.
so in a way, it kinda feels like i've just been holding them for somebody else for all those years.

well my trading partner Gooseatello was absolutely awesome throughout the entire trade. i've been closely watching the tracking on his parcel, so i hope he's just as happy once his figures show up later on today? :)

As far as getting ripped off. I don't think either of us feel that way. We both traded something we were willing to part with to acquire the other and we are both happy.
