Was J.D. Vollman a Steve Murphy pseudonym

I guess this is a yes or no question, but I'm just curious and I've never seen it confirmed anywhere.

TMNT Adventures #67-70 were written by a J.D. Vollman. Was this another of Murphy's pseudonyms (as Dean Clarrain was)?

The story reads like Murphy wrote it and I think he took credit for the arc in later interviews, but I don't know for sure.

Apparently there was a Mark Volman who was in a band called The Turtles in the 70s, so presumably it is a jokey pseudonym. Just wanted to check.

Maybe Murph has a Google Alert like Laird and he'll let ya know in a snarky blog post. :D

Nah, Murph's pretty mellow. The easiest way to find out is to ask the man, he's very approachable and his info is out there.
