Help identifying a collected book cover
 

hey, i was hoping someone could confirm if this book, tales of the tmnt, collected book was made. i know the book has been made, but i was hoping someone could confirm if this cover was ever printed. thanks!

Thats the IDW upcoming edition of "Tales of the TMNT" Vol. 1 series trade. Its suppose to be the first 4 issues of the original 7 issues that were made of the short run. So theres gonna be a 2nd book that collects the other 3 and who knows what else to round it off. The only plus to this version "Tales of TMNT" trade is that it'll be in color I believe. That's actually a new Jim Lawson cover too. Its nice that IDW cared to get the former Mirage artists to still contribute to their collected books. They've got them doing the "TMNT Adventures" trade covers too.

The second one will probably include the, "Spinal Tapped" story from Mirage's 2007 collection, just so it also has an even 4 issues.

Or at least I hope so. People should contact IDW and remind them of that extra story in the 2007 collection.

thank you so much for the information guys, i knew i had seen this cover before but had no idea why i couldnt find it for sale, i thought it was maybe a variant cover for the previous tales book that never got produced
