Fixing the Turtle Blimp creatively?

Ok everybody.... Its not unusual but my blimp has a hole somewhere in it and I cant stand it deflating.

I found holes and patched those very well. I resealed all of the knobs where it attaches to the glider and where the fins attach. After I did all that I submerged it in water and found 0 bubbles coming from anywhere. After that I covered it in soap to see it I would have any bubbles that way and again none.

A day later and it still half deflates and Ive about given up. Can anyone share ideas of how they have fixed their blimps?

I think if I cant make it happen I may wind up doing some very accurate measurements when it is inflated, take a large piece of foam and carve the shape of the blimp. Once I've gotten that far I will slice the top half way open, slide my sculpted shape in, and tightly seal the seam. It will eventually be "flying" on display/ handing from my ceiling. This is my absolute last resort

If you can ind the source of the leaks, I'd suggest using Shoe-Goo to seal the holes. It dries clear and flexible so it's well suited for repairs like this. You would only need a patch no larger in diameter than a dime.

I have the same problem with my Blimp II. No visible holes. No bubbles and still it needs just couple of hours to be half deflated. I decided to keep plastic part of blimp on display and i just hid the rubber part.

I've got some great stuff to seal any holes/ leaks but I cant seem to find anymore than I have. much like turtle kolektor there doesnt seem to be any holes in this guy left... i feel like Im running out of options!

Is the air valve leaky? Seems making a foam core and placing the blimp over it would be a great idea if you intend on displaying it and not ever selling it.

I've contemplated filling mine with expanding insulation foam.

Do you live with anyone? If I was your roommate, and I walked in on you in the bathroom trying to submerge your Turtle blimp to see if you could find any bubbles... I would totally wait until you're sleeping and then let a bunch of air out of it to screw with you.

I'd fill it up with little styrofoam balls. Beanbag blimp! :D

I like your style, Wes. :P

If it were me I'd fill it with hydrogen and burn it with a fuse in the sky, Hindenburg-style. And put it on Youtube in 1080p.

Maybe Slime for sealing inner tubes? If any leaks out, it'll just look like mutagen.
