Nick TMNT a tokusatsu show? *spoilers*

Okay, after reading the kids book, I've noticed;

1.) We have one or more overarching villians, who

2.) Send a monster of the week (in this case mutants), who

3.) Fights a group of four heroes with color coded gear, and

4.) the shows creators have said they're fans of 70's tokasatsu shows

Now, there will be episodes and situations that alter or break the formula (metalhead, rat king, Baxter, etc.) but it seems it will be very tokasatsu-esque (Minus the powers) what does everyone else think?

The show better not be a mutant of the week type of repetition.

I doubt it will be totally, but from what we've seen it will use that somewhat.

Teenage Sentai Shellranger!

They'll save the Tokusatsu stuff for season 2, where they'll gain transformations like in the one anime OVA.

:P

Leonardo: Remember guys, pose and then explosion

Donatello: Seriously? -_-'

my head canon is that not only with that Captain Ryan show that Leo likes, he also watches Sentai and Kamen Rider
