Not sure what I think about that RI cover

The R1 cover looks too froggy.

I know...it's cool in a way but also makes me think "TMNT: The Musical"

Is this the first time Kevin drew Slash,albeit shaddowed back shot?

kevin's cover looks amazing. i'm looking forward to seeing kevin's frontal picture of slash though... maybe the following issue? nevertheless... i'm getting eastman's variant. not too fond of khun's cover. too red and yellow.

The variants are siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick. As I said elsewhere, I like Kuhns cover but the coloring job is one of the most amateur things I've ever seen published.

Yeah I know what you mean. The arms and legs remind me a little of Battletoads.

I always get the Eastman cover if I can. Apropos, I've started calling this series "Eastman and Waltz's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."

I really want the Eastman cover. My comic guy usually pulls me one of Eastmens when he does one. If he doesn't it is always radome which one is in my box when I go. I really hope I don't get the basic one as the red/yellow just bugs the jeepers out of me.

My first thought, honestly, was... "Is that... Venus?!" Maybe it was the hips/thighs.

You are right.. Leo looks a little froggy or Venus like ,I do like the other two covers tho'.

Maybe it is hints of things to come ;-) First Slash and next Venus?

I agree, RI looks like Venus.

I really enjoy the Eastman variants. I am so glad he is onboard to do these.

Eastman's cover just makes me even more excited to see a whole extra length book of his art in the Annual next month! It's going to be amazing!!! I wonder if Laird will comment on his blog. hmm...

I'm kind of disappointed its not. By no means am I a fan of Venus, but it would have been a nice little reference to the fact that this is the first ongoing to feature a fifth turtle and hey according to the cover maybe its not Slash, perhaps its Venus.
