90's pizza hut prank

I apologize if this is in the wrong area. Has anyone seen this yet? Guy pulls a prank with a 21 year old Pizza Hut coupon from the TMNT vhs tape, only for the store manager to turn around and actually honour* it. Pretty awesome.

Am I the only one who finds these kinds of stunts to be nothing more than annoying cries for attention?

Jester 10-29-2012 08:52 PM

No .

The value from the sealed VHS may have exceeded the the value from the coupon. That VHS is now just worth a buck or two now that its unsealed. Still, I actually have some coupons from the 80's that have no expiration date. Very funny video and it proves that Pizza Hut is still makin' it great!

It was nice of the manager to actually honor the coupon. So awesome that there are people like that in this world. We need more people like this.

That was pretty cool of the manager to give him the pizzas. :)

Although it would have been funnier if the pizzas he ended up getting were from 1991!

It's the result of a culture where now anyone can film themselves and post videos online. It's also why there are a million copycats of Angry Video Game Nerd and Nostalgia Critic.

However, in this case it was an entertaining cry for attention. :)
