WISHLIST: 2012/2013 and beyond

What is on your top ten wishlist for new toys in the new toy line... do not limit your wishlist to just the toons.. past toylines have made toys that never where in the cartoon.

Here is my wishlist in no particular order.

1 Old Hobb (IDW comic)
2 Casey Jones (IDW or inevitable toon version)
3 Second Time About (AKA Around) Playset.. (warning may catch fire)
4 General Krang (IDW)
5 Beebop
6 Rocksteady
7 Human Bradford
8 Human Xever
9 Human Skin Kraang (with chest/gut that opens)
10 Wolf Hotel rooftop playset with ooze tank/bomb

Your turn

Nice idea - here's a list of some figures I'd love to see in the new toy style:

1) Slash
2) Casey Jones
3) Fly version of Baxter Stockman
4) Rocksteady
5) Bebop
6) Wingnut (imagine a more 'modern' take on a mutant bat that dresses like Batman!)
7) Usagi Yojimbo
8 ) Panda Khan
9) Muckman
10) Mutagen Man

demoman 11-19-2012 06:05 PM

1. kuniochi april (2012 version)

I would second all of these except Bebop and Rocksteady. I think that Dogpound and Fishface have those character types covered. And though the idea of the character is a little dated, I'd like to see an updated Mondo Gecko.

Drose18 11-19-2012 06:57 PM

Armorized Shredder
Turtles in foot garb would be cool
Casey Jones
Pidgeon Pete (Im hungry) JK NOT THIS
Vehicles: Bigger turtle copter like the size of zanramon cruiser maybe

Great list! I agree with most of those there... I think a human skin Kraang is essential for the new set. Never thought about a Second Time Around playset - that's awesome and hilarious.

Definately would love to see some IDW (or Mirage for that matter) Playmates figures produced. There's so much potential there for some great figures.

1) FW Shredder
2 Movie Casey Jones
3 Armaggon
4 Stump Wrestler Turtles
5 Alopex

7 Tatsu
8 Movie 1 Shredder

10 Chrome Dome(his size from Planet of the Turtleoids)

Bauer536 11-19-2012 10:21 PM

For the OT Classics Series:

*Shredder
*Splinter
*Bebop
*Rocksteady
*Foot Ninja
*April O'Neil (for all the males who love to stare at her beauty):twink:
*Slash
*Casey Jones

What I really want, however, is Classic Movie figures:tcool::

*Leonardo
*Donatello
*Michelangelo
*Raphael
*Shredder
*Splinter
*Foot Ninja
*Casey Jones
*Tatsu
*Super Shredder
*Tokka and Rahzar
*A variant Raphael with Trenchcoat

IDW:

Even though I don't like those comics, I guess it would be great for fans to grab an Old Hob or Alopex figure.

Now to the best one of all - Nickelodeon's Toon!:tgrin:

*Actual Cartoon Accurate Turtle Figures w/ and w/o eye pupils - Leo, Don, Mikey, and Raph (Still, I'm happy with the basic ones I have, and also those Power FX ones):twink:
*A Shredder that is bendable at the knees that comes with the cape and has the scar on his right eye
*More Foot Ninjas with different sculpting:tgrin:
*Young Hamato Yoshi
*Young Oruku Saki
*Spider Bytez
*Chris Bradford w/ Foot Armor
*Xever
*Kraang w/ Human Body (or as I like to call it, the Agent Smith body):tlol:
*Monkey Brains (maybe)
*Pigeon Pete (maybe)
*Power FX Splinter
*Power FX Dogpound or Chris Bradford
*Karai (whenever she comes)
*General Traag
*Rat King
*Turtle Copter that's big to fit all the turtles
*The Starship Dauntless with Captain Ryan or Leonardo dressed in Ryan's outfit (as a joke, his hand will be open to make it look like the "Live long and prosper" sign):tlol:
*TCRI Playset (whenever we get to see more of that)
*Foot Tower (When we see more of that)
*A Mini Playset of the Turtles' Common Room or Dojo

Right now all i'm interested in is in the classics line and would like to see almost every rendition of the Turtles made, so I could display the 'turtle-verse'.

2k series: Turtles (obviously) Splinter, Casey, Shredder, April, Foot, Hun, Baxter

Continuing 80's: Splinter, Bebop, Rocksteady, Krang, Shredder, Foot, Baxter

First live action movie: Turtles, Splinter, Shredder

First appearance ala Neca: Turtles, Splinter, Shredder, April, Foot, Casey

I don't know if this would fall under the "classics line" but i'd also like to see the modern turtles get the same type of makeover with more accurate sculpt and articulation. Partly the reason why I skipped on the basics. Just the core characters.

Ravenxl7 11-19-2012 11:33 PM

Hmmm...this is my list...for now...I might add more...:trazz:

Nick Basic figures:
-Captain Leo- Leonardo dressed up as Captain Ryan. Include a "phaser", a "tricroder", and a Turtle-Comm.
-Commander Raph- Raphael dressed up as Commander Grundch. Include a "phaser", a "tricorder", and a Turtle-Comm.
-Dr. Donny- Donatello dreassed up as Dr. Mindstrong. Include a "phaser", a "tricorder, and a Turtle-Comm.
-Ensign Mikey- Michelangelo dressed up as Crankshaw. Include a "phaser", a "tricorder", and a Turtle-Comm.
-Pidgeon Pete- I am serious about this. It'd be silly, but a figure of this guy would be cool to have. He'd make a nice mutant allie for the Turtles.
-Wingut w/Screwloose- Assuming these guys make an appearance int he show, it would be nice to see toys for them. Especially if they keep the Batman and Robin theme.
-Casey Jones- He's been confirmed for season two, and while I've never been a huge fan of him, I'll probably get his inevitable figure.
-Keno- I'm hoping he gets included in the show at some point. If not, I'd even take a toy-only sort of thing...
-Leatherhead- Inevitable, but figured I would put him on here anyways. Hopefully they make him as big as they can.
-Karai- I think she's another inevitable figure. Haven't seen what she looks like yet, but I doubt I'll skip her.
-Spider Bytez- Not so inevitable, but he is likely. I hope they make him nice and big, and use their paint apps smartly.
-Slash- Whether or not he makes an apperance in the show. I'd love to see what a Nick styled version would look like.
-Mutagen Man- Based on the image on the front of the comic book Raph was reading. Maybe even have it so you could fill him with Mutagen Ooze?
-Mouser 3-pack- I don't imagine they'll be big enough to sell individuall, so three in a set would be nice.
-Kraang droid- Not the disquised look, but the one's with the weird blue...armor? With a non-removable, but still well detailed Kraang body in the stomach. Include an accurate gun and some Mutagen Ooze canisters.
-Purple Dragon goon- We've got the Foot, so why not a Purple Dragon? Maybe even base the figure on one of the three? Purple Dragon's we've seen so far.
-Tokka and Rahzar- I love SotO, so I definitely want to see these to show up at some point, even if just long enough to get Playmates to make toys of them.

Nick Deluxe figures:
-Mutating figures- Added this after reading pannoni1's post, and I'm not sure why I didn't think of these when I first posted this. Wouldn't be a TMNT toy-line without the trans...mutating figures. The Turtles are an absolute must, and figures of Splinter, Fishface, and Dogpound would be nice too.
-Sound FX figures- They've done the Turtles and Shredder, but it'd be interesting to see Splinter, Fishface, Dogpound, a Foot Soldier, and maybe even April done with this gimmick.

Nick Basic vehicles:
-Turtle skate park- Four non-gimmicky skateboards designed to look like the one's they have in-show with a gray version of the ramp that came with the wave one skateboard.
-Footski- Basically a Playmates version of the Lego jetski they made for Fishface.

Nick playsets:
-Turtle Lair common room- Maybe have this one fold up into a sewer lid? Have it be the main room of their lair, TV and bench seating included. Maybe even have their arcade games in there.
-Foot Clan Shredder's den- Base it off the main room we've seen where Shredder disciplines his goons. Not really sure what it could fold up into, or what details they could add to it...

Classic Collection figures:
-SotO Turtles- Don't really care if they're designed around their looks in the first or second movie (there really isn't any difference), but I would love to see SotO on the packaging...That said, I would probably just get Raph...
-Next Mutation Turtles- Yes, I am serious. Not going to get into it, but I finally watched TNM...and actually enjoyed it. That said, I would probably just get Raph...
-Comic Turtles- Assuming they even have the sculpts around, I want to see Playmates FINALLY release those comic styled figures they designed back in...2009? Though this is, again, probably another example where I would only buy the Raph figure...
-OT Shredder- I'd love to see what they could do with him at this scale and detail. Especially when it comes to articulation.
-SotO Shredder- I loved his costume in SotO. Would be nice to see it made into a proper action figure...Maybe even make it a proper Super Shredder?
-SotO Tokka and Rahzar- I'd love to see how these two would turn out, and if they made one, they'd have to make the other.
-Nick figures- Not that I would buy the whole cast a second time, but there are certain one's I would like to see made at this scale. Most notably Splinter, Shredder, Raph, a Foot Soldier, Karai...and April.

Ninja Combat Gear:
-Splinter- Translucent green staff, couple of gray throwing stars, and a headband with Hamato Yoshi's clan logo.
-Arpil O'Neil- Regular looking bo-staff, couple of brown throwing stars, and a yellow headband with either Yoshi's clan logo or a number five on it.
-Foot Soldier- Black repaints of Leo's sword and the throwing stars. Replace the mask with a red headband with the white block on the front that has the black Foot clan logo.

Other:
-Nick Traag- Not sure how they should release him. I wouldn't care if he was in-scale, but I would still want him to be rather large. I would even be ok with a gimmick where he pukes orange colored ooze.
-Animals as accessories- Raph's pet Spike is a must, and I'd like to see Shredder's dog at some point too. The fish that Xever mutated into would also be interesting. Maybe include the dog and fish in pre-mutated figures of Bradford and Xever. Spike would of course come with a variant of Raph, and I could see the other three coming with pets too. Mikey with that cat he found, Donny with his roach Chong (pre-mutation of course), and Leo...with a pigeon?...maybe?
-Plush figures- Basically stuffed animal versions of certain characters. The Turtles, Dogpound, Fishface, Spider Bytez, but most importantly, an as close to life-size Kraang brain...

pannoni1 11-20-2012 09:16 AM

-TMNT Pizza Pan used for cooking
-Shell Sushi (The middle has a different color for each Turtle plus Splinter)
-More portable playsets
-New video games for WiiU/XBOX 720/Playstation 4 (This could be the last big opportunity since this could be the final generation of console gaming before it completely merges with the online world)
-A playset that allows you to fill the Sewers with water, along with some pipes that can be used as weapons
-A fashion wardrobe for April to target the female audience
-Nick Mutations Turtles, Dogpound, Fishface, Splinter figures
-Giant Mouser large enough to hold Baxter along with compartments used to unleash regular-sized mousers

savagejon123 11-20-2012 04:41 PM

2012 Classic Bebop and Rocksteady I'll die happy.

Chris 11-20-2012 04:59 PM

Top 10 for the 2012 line;

1-4. Show accurate TMNT (I love the basic ones we have but really want a cartoon accurate set as well)
5. Kraang (blue body exo suit)
6. Karai (hopefully she's already on Playmates' list)
7. Rat King
8. General Krang (IDW)
9. Slash (IDW)
10. Alopex (IDW)

Top 10 for Classics line;

1. Splinter
2. April O'Neil
3. Shredder
4. Krang (preferably as a BAF in his robotic body)
5. Bebop
6. Rocksteady
7. Foot Soldier
8. Casey Jones
9. Ninjara (Archie)
10. Armaggon (Archie)

Ravenxl7 - You're not alone, I'd love a set of Classics style TNM Turtles. Not bothered about any of the villains (though I'd get Dragon Lord if they did him) but I really want the Turtles... all 5 of them!

Irishmile 11-20-2012 07:47 PM

There are a lot of really great ideas in this thread hopefully the powers that be read it and take notes

I've got a good pizza pan that I use, but even I would buy that. Couldn't hurt to have too...right?...Great, now I'm hungry for pizza...:tlol:

That would be interesting. Though I see them advertising it filled with their Mutagen Ooze. Would certainly help sell the refill canisters.

Not something I would get into, but I would definitely be supportive of such a product.

I feel bad for not thinking about Mutating figures...They could easily do them at the same size as the gimmicky figures (wave one's sound fx, and wave two's flingers).

That could definitely be interesting. When I was writing up my list for this thread I had the idea of a life-sized Mouser, but I couldn't think of a way to make it viable. Having it be a play-set would do that.

It's comforting to know I'm not alone...:tgrin:

I would agree, but like any other toy company...or any company for that matter...Playmates stays away from using ideas from outside the company. As much as we would love for some of our ideas to be realized, and as smart as some of them would be, there's no way Playmates would use them. For fear of a lawsuit. I would honestly sign away my rights to any ideas they would want to use...Though I would at least try to negotiate getting a copy of any toy ideas they would use in return...:trazz:

A deluxe sized up Dogpound would be cool...

A larger, and show-accurate, Dogpound would be cool. I do enjoy the current figure, but I don't think I would pass-up a better version. Not sure what I would do with the one I have now though...

Added a couple more things to my list, and edited the one Raph variant.

Kevin G 11-25-2012 05:23 PM

An 11 inch Snakeweed

Baxter Stockman (1984 comic, 1987 animated series and 2003 series)

Chris Bradford (human version)

Xever (human version)

Mutagen Man

Scumbug

Alopex

Venus

April O' Neil (classic line)

Vernon Fenwick

Irma Langinstein

Muckman and Joe Eyeball

Tempestra

Lord Dregg

The Kraang in their human form.

Mona Lisa

April O'Neil (Judith Hoag) from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie (1990) figure.

Alpha One

A deluxe action figure set (that can be part of The Classic Line) with Michelangelo and Smoke (George C. Scott) from Cartoons All Star to The Rescue.

The Little Girl Time Traveler (I'm not sure if they ever gave her a name but if so I apologize) from #16 of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics.

Hun

4 baby Turtles from the opening to the 2012 series. I understand we will be getting little Turtles that will becoming with the ooze aka mutagen but I would like a four pack as what they did with the 2003 series figures.

Meh, maybe I'm stretching this a little, but horror film icons with the 2012 series incarnation Turtles:

Leo... Freddy Krueger

Mikey... Jason Voorhees

Don... Michael Myers

Raph... Leatherface

April... Mary Shaw

TheBlueTurtle1 12-03-2012 03:24 PM

Hey guys,

I would love to see

Classic series 2 80s

Bebop
Rocksteady
Shredder
Splinter

Classic series 3
1990 movie turtles.

Classic series 4
The Nick turtles complete with paintwork, pupils and higher quality molds.

Classic series 5
2003 turtles.

I really think the Classic series would be better if they do not over do it, and keep to the key characters that would sell.

PS. My personal, but un likely wants would be PUNK FROGS!

eoireitum7 12-03-2012 05:36 PM

Rocksteady
Beebop
Slash

I'd be content!
