Hello from Moe
 

Hello, as I said in the title I'm Moe, or MoeMoe. I'm horrendously shy so I am really nervous and I'm probably going to ramble on and on...

I was born in 1990 around the height of turtle-time, but I never actually watched the original series as a kid. I wasn't really interested in the turtles at all until I happened upon my uncles old copy of the first movie. I was hooked then and there, I was about 12 at the time, which was good timing because the second series was coming up.

I remember having TMNT gummies in my lunch in high school, all my friends were gamers and they didn't care that I had snacks made for 6-year-olds lol. Other than the gummies I never had anything TMNT related, I was always discouraged from getting too involved in things, in the sense of having collections and such. I wish I had been able to get some toys, but I think part of the reason I didnt was they weren't nice enough.

I really like the new show, above all else it's nice to see the turtles on tv again. I've heard some criticism of the turtles seeming young but I love the fact that they actually look and sound like teens. I always thought the 2003 ones looked like "young adults"- more like they were in their early 20's than actual teens.

Anyway...this is supposed to be a simple "hello" not "ramble on forever" so uh...Hi, I'm really a terrible chatterbox when I'm trying to compensate for being shy so...I'll just post this now.

Oh and I really like drawing but I have no clue how to use oekaki so I'm probably going to spend a good amount of time there figuring it out.

I get the simpsons jokes a lot, three stooges too. I actually got the nickname Moe from high school, I started as "amoeba" then a friend decided something shorter was in order and just started using the "moe" part. It just kind of stuck and now I use it more than my given name.
