Question about Cam Clarke
 

I am nervous asking this question....is it true Cam Clarke, the guy who did Leonardo, is gay? I'm just curious. I still love him reguardless, he is a great voice actor. I just want to know if it is true.

He did an album called Inside Out, reworking classic pop love songs, from a gay male prospective:

He came out as gay a number of years ago actually.

Not that it matters, in today's day and age half the people working in Hollywood are gay.

That's half of what is awesome about Cam, is how open and comfortable he is with his sexuality too. Those were the biggest laughs I got from the Talking Toons Live podcast with them all.

I had no idea about the soundtrack he did though, that's awesome. I'll have to give them a listen.

It's not a bad album. Cam can sing. And understandably so. Wasn't he on of the King Family Singers?

Just finished listening to it, and I agree whole-heartedly, he'd a great singer. Definitely going to have to see if I can find this album or at least find and listen to the rest of the songs.

Yep. His mom is one of the King sisters. He grew up around the music biz and was in the King Family singers show.

As for Cam being gay... yeah. That's just part of who he is. He came out ages ago. I LOVE his album Inside Out. :D

He was also the singing voice of Simba in The Lion King II: Simba's Pride.

Cam's a great guy, ive talked to him a number of times and he has always been extremely sweet. he has acutally called me good lookin a few times wich i found funny, but overall hes very nice and a good guy :) i could care less if hes gay or straight

I would really hope that nobody would let an actor's orientation affect their thoughts on their work, because that would just be stupid.

I forget who told me Cam was gay, but it never bothered me. Looking back at certain moments in the cartoon I can sorta see a little of his flamboyance in Leonardo, especially the episode where he's scared to death of snakes.
