Free iOS checklist app Toy Collector
Hi all -- I've been slowly putting together a master checklist for the iPhone and iPad (free, of course) and I've finally added vintage and modern TMNT (though none of the recent stuff yet).
Toy Collector I'd love some feedback. I'm also always looking for help updating, so if anyone one here is interested in helping add any missing TMNT figures, let me know! You can contact me directly within the app, or on Twitter, or on this forum Thanks, Zack |
Very cool, downloaded and installed
Edit: tried it out, good app. Only complaints, the images don't work at all and minor freezing issues |
Sorry for the delay in responding. What do you mean the images don't work? Did you try to download them? They aren't on the app on the initial download (there would be too many) - you have to press the "load image" button to download them to the device after it is installed. Once downloaded, they are stored locally. Does that make sense?
As far as the freezing, could you be more specific? I've not heard of this problem before. What device are you using? Thanks! Zack Quote:

Any thoughts on an Android version in the future?

I'd love to do an android version, but I've not been able to find an android programmer interesting in porting it over. Know anybody?

Hey I replied to your pm, thanks for getting back to me. I haven't tried the app since the first time I used it, but the freezing was pages not loading properly
|
Thanks for getting back to me. Hopefully this issue isn't still happening. The app is certainly still a work in progress (I'm just a stay-at-home dad messing around with this in my fleeting spare time). I'm always happy to receive feedback and hopefully improve the app when I am able!

yeah man, i'd love to see u include more toylines down the road when/if u can
|
Always happy to add more lines, especially if I can get assistance *hint hint*
For example, if you are interested in helping add the current TMNT line, let me know. Usually what I do is set up a shared google spreadsheet and use that as the base for the checklist. Zack Quote:

Well, I would be more than happy to help you with other toy lines....aliens, predators, wwe (mattel), dc direct batman arkham city...let me know....I can't see what lines you already have, as you don't have an android app....stop hate'n on android.
|
Haha. I do have DC Direct, but would love help on the others.... as for droid, so far my options are to quit my job, spend 6 months learning to program in android, and release another free application, or find someone who can help... I'm still crossing my fingers for option two...

Job? It's not like you have bills, or any other need for money. Because of that a job seems pointless.lol....well good luck with figuring out how to get an android version. PM me, and we can go over the other lines I can help you with.

Riiiight. I forgot I was the independently wealthy son of Todd McFarlane....
1.0.5 was released this morning! Batman the Animated Series and New Adventures of He-Man are now part of the app! Toy Collector |
