Hi everyone! COWABUNGA! I'm new here, but not new to the Turtles. I'm in my late 20s so I watched the original show religiously as a kid and I'm pretty sure I was a Ninja Turtle every Halloween. What I usually tell people is that TMNT is probably like my Star Wars, the way I love it so much! I unfortunately haven't watched the 2003 series much (I plan to get it to it though!) or Next Mutation, but very familiar with everything else. I love the Mirage comic, I adore the current comic run at IDW, it is amazing. I love the new show, and I've seen all the movies dozens upon dozens of times each. I'm so glad to be here!

I absolutely agree with you on the IDW approach..I just love what they do, especially bringing back Kevin. I was so lucky meeting him at the Nickolodeon booth at Comic Action in Essen, Germany this year. Man, this was a childhood dream come true. He signed all my three Ultimate Collection books and did little head sketches.
I'm turning 30 in January, working as a criminal lawyer and all, but let me tell you, when I met Kevin I just feld like a little kid all over again :tlol::tlol::tlol:

Awesome story! You know, I don't go to too many conventions, but I should keep an eye out, in case anyone related to TMNT are doing appearances near me. I'm pretty sure meeting Kevin Eastman would be just like... well, there would be no beating that. I get what you mean, though! Honestly, I feel like a kid every Saturday now watching the new show. I get so pumped about it, it's ridiculous! It seriously brings back memories of when I used to watch the original show and how, when I got a bit older, my mom talked about how I was all "Ninja Turtles! Ninja Turtles! Ninja Turtles!" But I'm like... I never really STOPPED doing that. I'M STILL LIKE THAT. And then even more so when the Nick show started! I think maybe my mother just thinks it was a childhood thing but... yeah, not really. I never really let go over the Turtles :P

Haha, anyway, that was just a long-winded way of saying, yes, I just love how the Turtles have a way of bringing the kid out in me :) And I'm glad the experience of meeting Kevin did for you as well!!
