Hello Shells!

As you can see in the title, i'am from austria.
I grow up with the Teenage Mutant hero Turtles - but let's be honest..this Name sucks. Ninja Turtles are the only real name.

Anway, i found my way here because i've explored the TMNT new as i was watching again the old 3 movies. I was a really big fan in my childhood but lost my fandom as i grow up.

I'am a really big fan of old videogames (only playing these old consoles) - and nowadays i started instantly to put efford in beating the games on NES, SNES Gameboy, Genesis etc.. I had a lot of TOYS in my childhood too, but the figures are all gone today..it is sad because there was really cool stuff in my owe like the Turtle-Van, the Submarine, the helicopter, the mosquito and so on... So i try to get new ones.. Started with the classical collection Leonardo.. (Still searching for NECA and the 2003 basics).

I ordered the TMNT DVD boxes, and can't wait till they arrive...It was my favorite show back in days, but the TV channels never aired it chronological and not very often...call it a european "habit" from the 90's.

Anyway, i ordered even a tmnt shirt and feeling very well beeing back in the TMNT Fandom. I started to watch the 2003 cartoon show and was first sceptical about it because i'am more into anime if it comes to animation. And to be honest, the animation style isn't very good..it looks so modern and undetailed.. But the story is pretty much awesome. I like 2003 show and the long bandana-masks. What sucks, is that nobody gets ever hurt or dies in the cartoons..i know, i know...that happens only in the comics. But i still wish a cartoon show or even a great turtles anime for adult audience.

I watched the 2007 Movie yesterday and i really don't liked it... Sorry guys, but that's not anymore my "style".

Well thats it for now.. Let's see how it will grow on me. Turtle Power!

Glad you decided to join, I love the old games too! I still have play the older ones on emulators now. Have you watched the new show? It doesn't have death, but the the writing has been good.

Yes, i've made some positiv and negatives points about the show in the suggestion thread. It is not exactly my style but still entertaining.

Welcome, Theli. And the Turtles do get hurt in 2K3. Leo gets his tail handed to him by Shredder's Foot Ninja, and they all get beaten up at the end of season 3. They got their tails handed to them by Shredder in the latest show, too. In fact, I just watched that ep today.
