What species is Fishface?
 

Sorry if this has been asked before - couldn't find any thread like this with the search.

Anybody have any guesses as to what species fishface is supposed to be? I think he kind of looks like a betta (Japanese Fighting Fish), but they aren't venomous - so maybe a pufferfish? He doesn't quite resemble one, though.

Has anyone figured this out? Thanks!

Michelangelo suggested he was a (robo-)carp. Other than that, I have no idea.

One of the writers said he was a snakehead fish.

Sorry for Necroposting, but, If Fishface is a Snakehead, why can't he breath on land? Snakeheads can breath on land for at least four days.

He's a pinky purple fish with white bits. That's what type of fish he is. Duh. 8)
