Ninja Turtles in Korea! (Pictures!)

Hello everyone, I'm new here and new to collecting Turtles.

I moved to Korea (from Colorado) nearly two years ago and was surprised to see Ninja Turtles on the shelves! It's great, my boy loves playing with these toys! I even found The Turtle Lair! Wish I would have found some Ninja Turtle comics and trading cards too! Here are some pics from the toy store for ya.

Fantastic! I also was surprised when, one year ago, i saw some MOC 2k3 figures in my country.

I got a few of the Fast Forwards in a store in Shanghai last year.
Its cool that these are turning up. If I were over in NK I'd be snapping these Turtles up.

Looks like old shipments shipped over there from leftover product. Is there any Nick stuff there?

Don't know why Leo's on the Shell Cycle, that's Raph's bike!

Quite an unusual boxset to come with all four Turtles. A simple four-pack would be more appealing but this would still sell.

Anyone else notice that that bike is the same as the Rippin Rider? This might be common knowledge, but it's new to me.

So far our collection consists of items from the local shelves, along with the Turtle Lair, which the store owner pulled from storage when she saw that I was going to buy a few things! Since I bought several items, I got a discount!

No, there isn't any Nick stuff, just Playmates, but in like-new boxes. Seems kind'a funny to find all this.

Not much else on the shelves as far as Turtles, these are my own pics, no single carded Turtles--but I wish there was! I noticed the same toys in Seoul, on Toy Street, except larger piles. I was hoping for some Turtle comics or trading cards, but came home without those.

Also, large toy stores don't carry these items, only small toy stores. The toys in the pictures I found in a toy store tucked back in an alley.

I was also surprised to not see any counterfeit Turtle items. The most pirated items now are Lego sets; Ninjago.
