I knew that the episode name was somewhere else in the Turtle franchise, just never knew it was from TNM.

So, all in the course of the first season, we have an episode containing the name of a TNM episode, a 4kids episode "I, Monster", and a portion of a Fred Wolf episode (The Making of) "Metalhead". Also, Mousers Attack sounds a bit like "Attack of the Mousers" from 4kids.

"Adventures in Turtle-sitting" was also a title in both the original cartoon and the 4kids cartoon.

Reusing titles of episodes from the older shows is fine as long as there's a difference in tone.

I agree. That way, it's harder to get the eps confused for each other.

It's also a thing people say.
