Which TMNT opening theme song is your favorite?

This is a difficult question... I love the Nickelodeon theme, but at the same time the original theme is iconic and I really like the "Back to the Sewer" theme. :tconfuse:

I didn't vote because I like all of them to some degree. I think the only theme I didn't like was Fast Forward's. BTTS's theme was okay though. The 87 theme is very iconic and the one I remember the most. The Nick theme is awesome, too.

The original toon theme will always be my favorite, both the lyrics and music riffs are great.

But where is Next Mutation?

4kids theme SUCKS...BADLY

the show is cool though but that theme is one of the WORST themes in cartoon History IMO

While the OT one is classic, I really love the Nickelodeon 2k12 one.

I feel that the newer song is well-sorted, and it puts more thought into introducing the characters. Instead of, "Leonardo leads" (which I thought was small compared with the others like "Michelangelo is a party dude), we have, "Leonardo is the leader in blue. Does everything it takes to get his ninjas through." Every character is introduced at the same rhythm. I like that.:tsmile:

I came to this thread whilst humming the tune to the S9 theme in my head. The somewhat slower, grungier version of the original.

It's difficult, coz I kinda like the lot of them. Yes, even FF. I find myself singing along whichever ones comes on, except BTTS, as it is too fast..
The Nick tune is catchy and fun, but I guess it's hard to not think that the original is still the best.

I voted for the OT theme. It gets stuck in my head at least once daily. While I like the nick theme, I've got nostalgic bias

Can't pass up the OT Theme, especially the quotes by each of the turtles. Geez, I still remember them today:

"We're really hype."

"Hey, get a grip"

"He's a radical rat!"

"That's a fact! Jack!"

"Gimme a break!"

"Party!"

(I think I got them all). :D

Actually all are great, gotta go with the 80s tho.

What about the Fast Forward and BTTS themes?

The Nick theme song for me.

I figured most would go for the Fred Wolf '87 tune, and while it is a classic, I voted for Nick's instead. It takes its cues from the '87 tune and gives it a flavor that really suits the show, while I felt the the 2k3 one was trying too hard, and the lyrics were a bit lame.

Nick one by far.

I was wondering when a poll like this would come around. :D I voted for the original '87 theme. While I love the Nick theme and, to a lesser degree, the 2k3 theme, the original theme is catchy and always manages to get stuck in my head.

I voted Nick because it's so darn catchy XD

but I liked the 4kids theme also :)

Fred Wolf is always number one for me, with the Nick theme second

2k3 ♥

I'm a little biased on this one since I grew up with that show. That being said, the nick one is pretty awesome too.

Mine is Fred Wolf.

1987 here, with Nick in a close second...although for 2k3, I love the version of it where Mikey dances around with Shredder's helmet singing "We shredded Shredder!"
