some nice tidbits of info. i like the part about all the turtleisms, not dumbing it down, and using the avengers as "the bar". i get the feeling that the fight scenes in this film will be redonkulous!

Finally, some more stuff on this movie. I feel like it's been slow the last week or so. Maybe we just got spoiled will all this new stuff leaking (photos of production etc) fairly rapidly.

I think pointing out that they can't get away with dumbing down the action anymore is a really good point. The neutered kind of fight choreography they used in the first movies was cool for "3 Ninjas" and "Surf Ninjas," etc (Ninjas everywhere. Hmm). But it literally doesn't exist anymore. Not even kids would accept that.

Yeah, the fight scenes are going to have to be huge.

If this movie delivers on half of what Eastman says he heard people talk about, we're in for something awesome. But we'll see.

I think most of us have learned to take what Kevin says with a pinch of salt. I don't doubt that many people working on this movie have good intentions and feel as if they are making something the fans will love. I'm pretty sure everyone working on Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation thought that too.

"The Avengers" being the bar could be intepreted in many ways. Is it that they are shooting for those kinds of numbers? That level of quality? Or that kind of spectacle with aliens invading NYC and turtles having to stop the incursion?

The Avengers being the bar really is great news. Didn't want to expect anything from this movie, really, but now I have a more positive view on it.

It's crazy because I really can't imagine what they look like. Realistic turtles... I feel like they really expect it to blow everybody's minds.
