so last year, i had the privilege of going to rob paulsens live 80s tmnt talkin toons podcast. what an awesome night that was. heres a few pics from my experience.

i couldnt think of what exactly i wanted to get autographed, and since i had to fly to cali for the podcast, i didnt wanna pack more than what i needed. so i decided to draw this, and its now one of my prized posessions.

i gave the original one of this drawing to rob paulsen. i used the nick donnie figure and classic raph figure as models.

i sadly didnt get this one signed, but ended up taking the arcee drawing with me instead. oh well.

and since my other main fandom, besides tmnt, is ghostbusters, i stopped by the firehouse where the interior shots of the firehouse from ghostbusters were filmed. but i didnt stay for very long, since, as egon said, "the neighborhood is like a demilitarized zone.".

on a side note, i recently realized something. the tmnt podcast was last year on august 24th, and this august 24th, my fiance and i are getting married. so not only will i always remember that date as the day that i married the love of my life, but its also the day that i met a wonderful group of people who were such a huge part of my childhood, and continue to be a huge part of my life to this day.

"Talkin' Toons" is one of my favourite things; I love voice actors and cartoons, and all of the VAs I've heard interviewed are tremendously funny people.

I also love Ghostbusters, but have never looked at a good picture of what the Firehouse looks like today. Time flies. 8)

i also got to go to new york city last year too, so of course, i had to go to the ghostbusters firehouse. it was so cool to see in person, and now ive seen both firehouses. like i said, the one in cali was where all the interior shots were filmed, and of course, this was the one where the exterior shots were fimed.

This is awesome! I've always loved the Talkin' Toons podcast. Besides the Gravity Falls Gossiper and Rooster Teeth Talkin' Toons is one of my faves. And the podcast with the original TMNT cast (something I unfortunately wasn't able to go to) was really cool.

That is awesome, and your artwork is nice, good idea to get it signed.
