Soundtrack?
 

I'm sorry if this has been mentioned before..But I really dig the soundtrack to this show, and I'm just wondering if anyone has any MP3's of the songs (not the theme song) or if Nickelodeon is planning on releasing an album? Do you think they'd have a market for it? :tsmile:

I was just thinking about making a thread to ask what people thought about the soundtrack, haha. I love it to death personally, I wish there was an album available but unfortunately there isn't. I haven't heard any plans for a release, and though I hate to say it, I don't think it's too likely either. I also don't think there's much of a "market" for it, not in the traditional sense of the term, anyway. I mean, certainly people here would buy it, at least some, but we're a small portion of the fanbase... I think it would be a fantastic addition to a digital download of the first season, or as a disc included with a DVD set. Incentive for sure.

That'd certainly be nice. Besides, it wouldn't require that much effort from them to release the tracks digitally... I think. Maybe putting out an actual disc demands more careful planning and a bigger investment, but I can't see why they wouldn't sell the OST digitally on itunes or amazon.

A collection of all the themes from all the series (or the ones with cool music) would be great. Some of the fighting themes are epic.

Is there not some sort of anniversary coming up or something, like the Dr Who 50th, where we could push for a TMNT album?

If they think it would cost too much to put out an actual CD, then that's fine! But the least they should do is have one of those AWESOME combo packs with the DVD, BluRay, and a digital download of the soundtrack IF you want it.

Yes, actually, 2014 is the 30th anniversary. I'd love a boxset with all of the series and film scores on it since none of them were released commercially.

I have found a decent quality ring tone of the new theme. That's as close as I have gotten to a soundtrack.
