How skilled of a fighter will Casey be?
 

In the OT he was a brute force type of guy who fought like a typical street fighter. Do you want the nick version to be similar or maybe a little more skilled?

I'm not sure I should be replying here because we've got quite a few Casey threads already running but as he's a high schooler, I'm guessing he might not be a properly hardened fighter just yet. Maybe starting out.

He's going to be older than the turtles from what I hear but obviously he hasn't had the training of Splinter so I wouldn't have him down as a skilled battleman.

But it all depends on the back story the creators give him.

He'll probably be a teen version of Body-Count's Casey.

Like a PG 13 Rambo with sport equipment and movie special effect know how for psychological war.

Probably just a street brawler who fights with brute force rather than skill/technique. Maybe he'll train with Splinter? Actually, I'm kind of curious as to how he'll interact with Splinter.

I dunno, but let's hope he's more skilled than Timothy ever was. >_<

From the promotional image, you get the sense Casey is a tough guy. It's very possible he could just be a clumsy, teenaged nerd, but at night he takes on a new persona. However, I could very well be wrong. The Pulverizer's character kind of took care of that.

That could be the reason why they choose Josh Peck do the voice.

You know I was thinking about this today. It could be an interesting comparison. Especially after the Turtles see him for the first time they may not take him seriously.

I imagine he'll be sort of like Raph. A "beat now, ask questions later" sort of guy. Definitely not as tough as Splinter but probably a little better the the turtles.

You what would be really funny? When the first time that Casey see Raph, he'll mistake him as the Pulverizer, cause you know, they're both wearing the same head band color.:D

I hope he is bigger and stronger than the Turtles, but clearly not as skilled.

I hope he's not as skilled as the turtles, but is resilient

One thing for sure, With Casey Jones coming, Donatello is going to have some competition for April. if I recall Casey Jones originally had a thing for April in the comics.

I say around the same level of skill as the IDW comic Casey.Can fight any of the normal foot ninjas and any punk but the weird thing will be a bit more trouble for him by him self.
