Slash: Corey Feldman/Spike

CONFIRMED YO!

AASHKFGDSKJSDGH THIS IS EXCITING AS HELL.

The most recent issue of TV guide had this piece on SDCC featuring Corey Feldman (Sorry my scanner isn't hooked up!)-

Here's a crop of the character design

He looks pretty damn dope! Being that you can't tell too well from my lower-res photos of the magazine, he has sort of Mouser-like teeth, it seems.

Pumped for this.

Pretty cool looking. I dig it.

If someone had to be right about Spike, I'm glad it wasn't miru and his Venus ish.

Jester 07-13-2013 01:00 AM

I like that he's Slash...kinda sucks we loose spike for it though... :( Also....that head. So tiny.

Hero 07-13-2013 01:01 AM

Bloomin' good stuff! I like the update on the character design.

Eiko 07-13-2013 01:07 AM

Wow cool looking.

Hero 07-13-2013 01:09 AM

Whose to say we lose Spike permanently? :)

Konchadunga 07-13-2013 01:11 AM

I have to admire how this show gives expanded, interesting, and at times, unexpected origins for many classic characters, but I'm not sure if this version of Slash sounds so good...or is that, so bad? If they make Slash, and he's an ally to the other turtles rather than an enemy, then what if he becomes the permanent fifth member of the team? I doubt I'd like that.

Bossa Nova 07-13-2013 01:13 AM

All I can say is....disappoint.

MrTMNT2012 07-13-2013 01:15 AM

My only problem is that they call him 'Slash'. He should've just kept on being Spike because now they're messing with an already established character! Slash should be the villain not a good guy...

Drose18 07-13-2013 01:23 AM

That head is pissing me off.

Jester 07-13-2013 01:26 AM

Slash was an "anti-hero" in the Archie books.

Lethal Lullaby 07-13-2013 01:30 AM

*almost speechless* O_O His head. His abnormally tiny head. :-?

:tanime: Welp. I'll most likely get used to it and end up really liking him.

Jester 07-13-2013 01:44 AM

Are those his eyes, or more spines?

Leo656 07-13-2013 01:45 AM

Yeah, I'unno, I kinda like the idea but the very first thing I thought was "Why's his head so tiny?"

I'm sure they'll eventually sell me on it, but they really shouldn't have to. I guess they *really* wanted him to look different from the other Turtles. I "get" it, I just don't fully support it. Ah well.

shredder orokusaki 07-13-2013 01:47 AM

Excellent!! Now only Bebop Rocksteady and Hun left that have not been confirmed for Nick cartoon!! :D:D

Actually, there's more TMNT characters than those 'last' 3 you mentioned.

On topic, Slash looks dope! The head doesn't bug me as much as it does others. Can't wait for season 2!

TheBlueTurtle1 07-13-2013 01:51 AM

I KNEW IT! Awesome stuff. Thanks so much for the info.

Wait. *looks at the image again* Where the heck are they??! I have a sudden idea of where. That black thing that looks like a mouth could be his mask. You can almost see like really tiny eyes. That or I'm losing it. :trazz:

Leo656 07-13-2013 01:53 AM

You're not losing it; it's just a really clunky design overall.

LivingMutagen 07-13-2013 02:21 AM

Can't wait to hear his and Casey's voice next week (SDCC is then, right)
