Will April/Casey's daughter ever appear in another TMNT universe?
 

In the Mirage comics April/Casey have an adoptive daughter named Shadow. We see her grow into a teen and then adult over the course of the series and she eventually becomes a ninja.

Sadly, probably not.

I would love to see this character in another version, but I'm with Candy Kappa on this. It worked in Mirage because of how long it ran, maybe if IDW runs as long she will show up. Though the characters in that have been aged down.

This is interesting cause April had a great granddaughter from the future in a couple of issues of the TMNT archies series name Nobuko

I never thought of that... but Fast Forward totally missed the boat there. They should have had either Shadow Jones instead of Cody... or have Cody mention that his mother or grandmother was named Shadow Jones.

That would have been really cool. They never revealed who April and Casey's kid was. Always wished they had.

The problem is FF was 100 years in the future. If Shadow was in it she'd have to be at least 70 years old.

yeah... and Shredder is an utron in the comics and Karai is his daughter... Change dude. Change. They could have made Shadow be Casey and April's grandaughter or whatever to make her fit into the story.

The 5 part Cyber Samurai storyline from the TMNT Archies Series comics were set 100 years into the future. Nobuko was one of Leonardo's students.

Shadow isn't April's daughter. April has never had a child in any continuity.

That's right. I forgot her mother was named Gabrielle. I kinda doubt they'd show Casey with any woman other then April any time soon... so we can assume IF she ever appears she'd either be an adopted child or April and Casey's biological daughter.

No and I don't want it. Even the one from Fast Forward is annoying.

I think it would be awesome if Shadow showed up, but I highly doubt it. I also wish she would have been in Fast Forward as it would have been interesting.

If his grandmother was Shadow Jones, why would his name be Jones as well? I mean it's not impossible, but not likely either (to paraphrase Donatello).

True, but she wasn't adopted either. Gabrielle gave birth to Shadow while she was married to Casey so it's automatically his daughter by law.

It would seem unlikely. Certainly the story of her birth wouldn't be seen as suitable for a a cartoon or the kind of movie we seem to be getting. Perhaps if the IDW lasts for a long time it'll be adapted there.

Beyond that I could only see her as a future version like in tha Tales issue above or if they skipped over how she was concieved and had the birth offscreen.

The only way that I see it happening is if they pull a reverse situation of fast forward. The turtles are still living in their present time but it's Shadow who go back to the past. I only say this because I believe it would be much more fun having a character from the future on the show who sometimes drop hints and clues on what will happen to the main four and god knows how much we fans love to speculate on things.
