"Fan site"

I had to make a throwaway Web site as an example of my "skillz." Since it's my thing at the moment, I chose a TMNT2012 theme. I'm mentioning it here and not in Fanworks because it used GIFs and screen captures from this board and isn't serious.

(The banner isn't bad considering that I only have MS Paint at work)

looks cool. Check out this website I'm building for a Ninja Turtles Podcast I'm starting up. http://herosinahalfcast.weebly.com/

*Sight* I miss my old job where I could just do random stuff and no one would mind.

That's so cool! Starting up a podcast has always been a fantasy of mine, but I never got around to actually doing it. Anyway, good luck ^^

Well, he did say "just make something random..."

Oh, you work as a web designer? Now everything makes a lot more sense xD

No, I'm an "administrative assistant" (secretary) in a church. I just happen to know HTML and a few other nerdy things. :D

Oh great, I got it all wrong.

*quietly walks away from the room*

Nice work! I like the design! Are you going to post episodes reviews and news?

In a better economy I'd have a better job and not just be the office b***h for a church, so we'll pretend you're right.

Nah, it was just to show my boss what I can do. I already have a beauty blog that takes most of my creative energy. Although deleting this is going to make me a little sad...

Awww, I really like some of the gallery pics.

Pretty Spiffy. Sometimes I pine for the days when the entire Internet wasn't completely owned by a handful of corporations. I miss the personal touch of the old Geocities Fan Shrines.

Please don't delete! The Mikey pic with the comic book is so cute! :D

Nice!! I really like it!
