Now that season 1 is over how do you feel about Dogpound and Fishface?i
Man I love these two guys. Much better than Bebop and Rocksteady and Hun. From their back stories to their designs I really dig them and hope to see them for a long time.
|
I really like Dogpound and Fishface. Hope in season 2 we get some more details about Bradford's past like they did with Xever's.
|
They're my least favorite Shredder henchmen, but they're still OK.
Dogpound is literally just a dog version of Hun. |
I think they look like huge pokemons. I don't really like their design.
I prefer their human version I think, even if Bradford looks too much like Chuck Norris. |
Eh.
I actually find them a little bit annoying as mutants. I liked them much better as their human selves. Fishface's breakdancing robot legs are a little bit much as is Dogpound's compliance to The Shredder and his strength and spikes. I understand that the entire concept of 4 mutant humanoid turtles acquiring ninja skills and fighting creatures from other dimensions is a already outlandish and fantasty, but I find it hard to suspend disbelief when it comes to those two characters. Probably because I don't like them and I think the show can/should remove them from the equation.

i dont mind them. but i still like hun more than dogpound

I'm honestly fairly bleh towards both of them regardless of pre or post-mutation.
At least Xever has an interesting backstory that explained his loyalty to Shredder, Bradford has yet to really have that sort of thing besides the whole 'he's a prodigy and Shredder's star pupil' which I felt became a tad redundant and meaningless the moment Karai came along. Kind of makes me wish that there could be some sort of rivalry between them like Hun and Karai from the 2k3 series but of course that only make Xever no longer his 'main frenemie' as best as I could call their relationship. |
I like them more then I should, plus Dogpounds design is awesome.
|
I Give the writers props for not making them carbon copies of Bebop and Rocksteady and giving (one of) them some character development. They're not exactly groundbreaking characters, but they are a step up from Bebop and Rocksteady.
|
They're awesome. I hope to see more if them. I do like xever a lil more than Dogpound but both are awesome. Maybe we'll see a Chris backstory in season 2.
|
I love both of them and also hope we see more of Bradford's past as we saw with Xever. I like Xever a bit more than Bradford, but Bradford's okay.
|
Xever and Bradford are both great characters. I love that they're actually pretty threatening as henchmen instead of just bumbling idiots, and I love that their personalities are so different.
I miss Xever's human form a bit but I think Fishface's design is beautifully rendered and his "attack hiss" is hilarious. Dogpound is a pretty solid design too. Getting to see Xever's backstory was great and the Fishface/Raph team-up in "Baxter's Gambit" was one of the highlights of Season 1. I hope that gets revisited in future episodes. . |
There's been a lot of Dogpound/Fishfaces threads recently.....
|
I still think they should have stayed human. But hey, action figures.

They are growing on me so yea they not to bad.

I actually liked them better as humans and would much rather have Bebop and Rocksteady.
|
I like them, but would much rather they be human.
|
They're on par with Bebop & Rocksteady, if not better in some ways. Love these guys.
|
They're OK. I prefer Xever over Bradford and I love both his human and mutated forms. I wish Bradford would have stayed human though.
