Favortie re design and least favorite redesign of Nick Series

Pretty straight forward which redesigns do yo like the best and which ones do you not really care for from the new series. Outside of the turtles my favorite redesign would have to be a tie between Mutagen Man as he's been shown in promo images for season 2 with the gooey arms and legs and Casey. As far as least favorite redesign I really only have two issues, the bulky armor Shredder has on his legs and the turtles rescue hero feet.

I am liking the new look for Casey a lot and I think making April the same age was a great idea as far as the show is concerned. I think all the characters feet are way too big (look at April's size 17's lol) but overall most characters have a cool look.

Leather head and Rat King have been my favorites so far.

I'm pretty happy with all the redesigns. No one looks bad, to me at least.

i like most of the character desgins. only one i kinda dont care for is donatellos.
the tooth gap i dont mind, but i dont care for the fact that hes basically a head taller than leo, the second tallest. i think it makes him stand out a little too much. but i dont think it really detracts from his character

DarkLightDragon 08-26-2013 03:50 PM

I've been liking each one except Karai's.

I like them all. I had to get used to Karai, but I like her redesign now. It really fits her character.

BubblyShell22 08-26-2013 04:22 PM

I don't really have a least favorite redesign. I like them all.

TurtleTitan97 08-26-2013 04:32 PM

I like most of the redesigns as well so far.

zbowen 08-26-2013 04:35 PM

I'm not a fan of the Rat King redesign. He's one of the better villains in the comic, and the changes the show made didn't make me think of the Rat King. It just seemed to be a totally different character.

The turtles are now far easier to distinguish, and R.King no longer looks like Dennis the Menace gone bad, instead a thoroughly creepy mummy

Donatello19 08-26-2013 05:19 PM

I really like all of them....At first I hated that the back of Karai's hair was dyed yellow, but I got used to it.

Fav: Shredder

Least Fav: April

RaphAndDonnie 08-26-2013 06:34 PM

I'm pretty content with all the designs. My favorite would have to be Donnie's. The one I dislike is April. She just looks kind of meh to me.

BabyTurtles 08-26-2013 07:22 PM

I like them all....

I like April's alot...(though I think her design would look better if it was 2D animation)

Favorite- The Turtles. Specifically Donnie.

Least favorite- Karai. The hair & the makeup. Blech.

Honorable mention to Rat King, who looks awesome as hell.

Agreed on all points.

Favorite redesign is April, but I also like the designs for all the characters from the older series.

I do not have a least favorite redesign, though there some new ones I don't like.

I love Casey's new design <3 The knocked out teeth are the PERFECT touch, I he's one of the few humans that actually looks natural in movement and even better animated than on paper (which is saying something since he looks pretty damn awesome when drawn as well). Leatherhead and the Rat King's designs are also pretty sweet. The turtles themselves, I love the way Mikey and Leo look. My only gripe is Leo's blue eyes which would have stood out so much nicer if they were brown, but overall their builds and facial structures suit them so nicely.

Don and Raph on the other hand kinda bug me. Raph's would be perfect if he wasn't so short. I don't know, it really bothers me when he's so short, it kind of makes him seem like he has a Napoleon complex. Don...I actually really adore his teeth gap and I like that he's so much thinner than his bros, but his extreme height and egg-shaped head really bother me. It's too much of a stereotype.

Aside from the turtles, I absolutely hate Karai's designs. It never grew on me even though I was really trying to give it a chance since she's one of my favorites characters, but ugh. She's just so ugly when Karai, in my mind, is supposed to be beautiful. April is also pretty boring as well, not fugly like Karai, just...boring. And I still don't know how I feel about Splinter. Design-wise, yes, he looks pretty awesome. But he just doesn't feel like Splinter to me.

Luckyday 08-26-2013 08:05 PM

It's hard to pin it down. Don't get me wrong. I obviously like Karai re-design but thats more to do with how she written into the show rather then her appearance. If we talking about pure aesthetics then I will have to go with Master Splinter. Sometimes the artists of the franchise or any series have this tendency to give him too much fur on his moustache and he ends up looking like schnauzer in some angles but the designers of the show were really careful on the head design to make it look 100% rat. I give the designers major pat on the back for that! :D

I also really love the white markings on his face to give a illusion that he has a white beard. Really love that.

My least favorite is Slash but mostly due to inconsistencies from who he was before and I don't like the head design. I hope he looks more like his concept art.

Karai's hairstyle looks bad.
