What is a better show, Nick TMNT or Duck Dynasty?
 

According to the ratings, Duck Dynasty is: its season premiere garnered 11.8 million viewers while the series premiere of TMNT only garnered 3.9.

What say you, the followers of all things Turtles?

Hmm... I'm not sure this poll will tell us much. Both shows are targeted at much different demographics, Nick TMNT was essentially a brand new show while Duck Dynasty was already going on its 2nd or 3rd season, and this forum itself is probably going to be a little biased. That being said, "Of Course, TMNT!"

I have never heard of "Duck Dynasty"...nor do I ever intend to watch it...so, TMNT.

I think the more pressing question is, which is better, peanut butter or apple juice?

These shows are completely different from each other. Why compare them?

I agree with the consensus that both shows shoot for different demographics. It's like literally comparing Turtles to Ducks...

I actually like both. I was reluctant about DD, but my wife fell in love and dragged me along for the ride. All in all, though likely very VERY scripted, a fun and very funny show.

Yeah, both shows are different for sure. I like Duck Dynasty, though Mom watches it more than I do. Still, I'm not voting in this poll because I honestly don't understand the meaning of this topic. Duck Dynasty was going on before Nick TMNT premiered, so it's kind of moot to even compare them.

That's true too. Duck Dynasty is on it's 4th season. More than enough time to gather a fan base excited for the new season.

Maybe comparing season 4 of TMNT to season 4 of DD would yield more accurate comparisons.

In fact...let's compare TMNT season 1 to DD season 1. Doing so, using the logic of the 1st post, makes TMNT the winner because the pilot of DD only garneres 1.81 million viewers to TMNT's 3.9.

Not only are reality shows extremely over rated but this one specifically is just packed with American stereotypes and half-baked quotes

It's a show about rednecks who own a duck caller/signal company. They're a family owned business who have made a ton of money. They eat road kill and do typical redneck stuff lol. My wife watches them from time to time.
