Rahzar and Tokka possible appearance?
 

Over at the toy section a person who works for Toys R US discovered a listing for a Rahzar toy coming out in 2014.

Could Shredder possibly be mutating Rahzar and Tokka for this series like in Movie 2? I'd also love to see Slash fight Tokka as we've never seen those two meet before.

Well the original cartoon made them intelligent, Rahzar was awesome especially.

I know, I was just saying that because they're mostly remembered from their film appearance.

I would love to see them make an appearance but I kinda wish Nickelodeon would hold off for a while. We will already have Baxter mutating and Slash, not to mention Casey Jones introduction... i just don't want them to be crammed in there you know?

I actually dont think they're going to give us tokka...first of all he wasnt mentioned in this upcomming toys section..and then at least to me spike who will mutate into slash(still wondering about how they're gonna name him differently, maybe its mike again) is pretty overkilling the mutated turtles in one show part for me..I mean arent four turtles enough to begin with?then add a normal turtle..who will then again mutate...and THEn you still wanna see tokka come to life in this show?...not my cup of tea I guess...

I don't see them bringing in Rahzar without Tokka. They are probably just planning to release the Tokka toy later on. Or maybe the Rahzar listed is part of the Classics line, although that's doubtful.

Tokka and Rahzar seem weird since we have Slash and Dogpound. I'll take 'em though.

It would actually be cool if the Nicktoon adapted Secret of the Ooze, so we'd have a not-so-terrible version to watch.

Come on, the actual Secret of the Ooze is not THAT bad.

Yeah, I'll take SOTO over movie 3 or 2007 anyday.

Secret of the Ooze is great for a kids movie. Which is exactly what it was supposed to be.

As for Rahzar, a wolf is rather different than a dog and I can see him being skinnier and smaller than Dogpound.

Yeah, they were pretty good in the Fred Wolf series, Would like to see them appear in the Nick Series too.

i do agree that we have a significant number of important characters coming in season two; Casey, Fly Baxter, Slash, Tiger Claw, Mutagen man. Then add in all the other new mutants, and some old ones (rat king, etc.) and id say rhazar and tokka are very unlikely for this season.

But if the toys coming out in 2014, maybe season 3? Maybe next summer we'll all be on here, dying of impatience over the release of tokka and rhazar designs and just waiting to see them in the show.

Also, i could see this show pairing rhazar with slash, instead of tokka, since yet another turtle could be overkill. besides, spike in normal form looks way more logical to turn into tokka then the slash hes going to be.

Though Tokka is a snapping turtle however, But Im sure there is room for more turtles since the Fred Wolf series had plenty of them. I remember the episode when the turtles met this other turtle name Kerma who isn't a mutant, But a turtle from the planet Shellri-la which is a world populated by humanoid turtles living like humans. It was called Planet of the Turtleoids

I'd love to see Tokka and Rahzar in the Nick toon. That's cool if Rahzar might be in it, but we'll have to wait and see if this is officially confirmed.

Season 1 introduced what...almost 20 characters, not including the Turtles themselves? We had a new mutant introduced almost every other episode.
