ninja turtles german edition

I know this is somewhat against the rules, but I own Ninja Turtles in literally every format. I used to own a region free dvd player, but that thing quit working ages ago. Long story short. I can't seem to find a copy of this dvd online and I can't seem to make my existing player region free. Because of which I am hoping someone can point me in the direction of region 1 or even a 'bootleg' copy of the dvd so I can actually watch and listen to this audio commentary that I've been hearing about. I'm sorry if I'm breaking some rules, but I really have no other choice if I want to see this edition/version of the film.

I just figured out how ridiculously simple it is to make an NTSC backup of a PAL DVD or verce visa. It just doesn't correct the PAL-speedup issue. Buy yourself a copy, and I'll walk you through the process.

I should look into getting a copy... I want to hear commentary track... since that's the most features any release has seen for this movie lol

I want to see this guy's collection of movies now o_0

I'll probably have to take you up on that.. do you still have copies available?

As far as I know, all I have left is my personal copy. It's like-new condition. For $20 + shipping, I'll send you that as well as the NTSC backup. Sound good? Your other option is to import it and I'll still instruct you on how to make that backup.

In every format? Have you watched the laser disc versions? If so, what's your opinion on the picture quality? Do the colors differ from the DVD version? The DVD seemed to have more of a sepia tone than the blu ray, imo.

Let's do it. Appreciate the quick response. Where shall I be sending this money?

The laserdisc seems somewhat 'richer' - not much different when compared to the VHS version.

I would love to get my hands onto a copy of this. I started a thread a few weeks ago asking about it, but no one responded.

Sorry, dude. I must have missed it. Good news, though. Amazon.de stopped charging more than the cover price of the DVD for shipping to the US. Lemme know if you need help ordering from there.

I know this is late but there are Phillip DVD players that are region free after tying in a code.

still waiting on this...
