Should the Triceratons appear?

Do you guys think the Triceratons should appear and if so what role should they play?

pannoni1 09-10-2013 02:38 PM

The Triceratons should appear as allies to the Kraang and come from a distant galaxy in Earth's dimension. Season 3 would be a good time since the upcoming season's focus is the Kraang/Foot merging forces and taking control of the home planet. Ciero Nielli said that he'll save the deep sci-fi stuff for later. Don't forget to include the Fugitoid as always. But I'd be surprised if they didn't appear since they even appeared in the OT.

Cowabungawolf89 09-10-2013 02:43 PM

I was seeing them more as of rivals to the Krang but the ally bit could work too :)

NinjaMan 09-10-2013 03:08 PM

Nah I got tired of seeing those guys after the 03 series.

Whatswiththeheadbands? 09-10-2013 03:11 PM

I think that they should come to earth, wanting to conquer the planet for an unknown reason.

They see that the kraang also want the same goal, so there should be an all out war between the kraang and the Triceratons.

I think i read somewhere that the Triceratons will appear in the series sometime

EDIT: The spelling correction is in bold

They're obviously going to appear. On the official Nick tumblr they said that disintegrator gun looked to be of Triceraton origin. Why would Nick writers name-drop that when kids watching TMNT today don't even know what a Triceraton is?

I expect them in Season 2.

Come to think of it, that blaster Snake pulls out when the Turtles confront him also had a triangle shaped opening. So that also could be Triceraton in origin.

BubblyShell22 09-10-2013 05:40 PM

I think it would be awesome for them to appear and to fight the Kraang.

Gin Rummy 09-10-2013 05:44 PM

I really hope they do appear, But later in the series.

Hopefully in Season 3/4.

NinjaMan 09-10-2013 07:08 PM

I remember during the Showdown premier someone posted on tumblr that the gun the Turtles used was of Triceraton origin. When exactly did the Turtles get that weapon?

Cowabungawolf89 09-10-2013 07:46 PM

If and when they do appear I hope this cartoon does them justice.

LeotheLateBloomer 09-10-2013 07:55 PM

I'm totally up for seeing them again but it'd also be cool to see the Galatic Federation. I wonder if Leo would ask General Blanque if they know Captain Ryan.

i personally dont want to see them. in 2k3 i really didnt enjoy their episodes.

but i think its inevitable that theyll show up. i just hope ciro saving the heavy sci-fi stuff for later doesnt get too out of hand. i prefer the episodes where the turtles arent in outer space

TurtleMaster4 09-10-2013 08:51 PM

I don't know if they should be enemies of the Kraang, I think the Kraang needs to have more enemies and the Tricaritons are a good Idea for one.

Jester 09-10-2013 08:55 PM

As long as they're not white guys, sure. :D

They got it around the time donnie installed the diesel engine on the shellraiser :P

Joke aside, a similar gun (I think it's the same one, but for some reason they used a different name) showed up in 'Baxter's gambit'. That time around the kraang took it away to never be seen again, so there really is no telling if it even is the same gun, and, in case it was, there are also no hints about how the turtles may have gotten their hands on it.

I personally believe that a lot of these things will be explained in the comics, and that's why they didn't care to give some sort of explanation for them in the show.

Ah forgot about that episode thanks!

There's no way this show is going to go two+ seasons without touching them. Way to prevalent an element of the TMNT mythos to not fall back on at some point.

When they do show up, though, I hope they're some real scary f*cks. They have big bad potential that's never really been exploited.
