It's now time for Round 3, starting out with the top seed Gauntlet going against The Alien Agenda. We'll now see how the vastly loved The Gauntlet and Showdown will fare against top third ranked and widely liked episodes. It's 1 vs. 8. Let's get started.

both were great, i just really liked the leo/karai/raph plot of AA

Oh, this is so difficult. I love both episodes, each one for a different reason.

The Gauntlet for its buildup to an intense climax with the Shredder. Alien Agenda for the Leo, Raph and Karai interactions. Both episodes are in my personal top 5.

In the end, I'll have to go for the Alien Agenda. There's something about the episode and the way it's written that motivates me each time to re-watch it when I'm in the mood for a TMNT episode. The Gauntlet is awesome but not an episode I could watch every time. It's epic and intense, but also a bit depressing. (But executed very well)

when I saw Shredder in The Gauntlet, I let out a gasp and was totally drawn in by his debut against the Turtles. I am 28 years old, besides when I saw my wife walking down the aisle, I have never had anything else take my breath away.

Both great episodes but has to be "The Gauntlet". The meeting and fight with Shredder is fantastic.It invoked memories of Mirage issue 1, "The Shredder Strikes" from 2k3 and the rooftop scene of the original film.
