Aggressive discussion about the new movie on imdb
I found quite a doozy of a thread on the upcoming movie's imdb board:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1291150/...read/219949969 And you thought the drome forums were bad. |
It's a surprise to you that there is aggressive discussion on IMDB?
And it needed a topic in this forum so we can see what's going on with that forum? |
Nice thread.

ROFL.... none of the movies to date have used the cartoon theme song. Some of these people are worse than the ones we have here...
|
I like the OT, its fans on the other hand.... I think this goes without saying.
|
Oh come on guys...why make fun of them? Let's all join hands in a drum circle and sing "Kumbaya."

THE ORIGINAL TURTLES ARE ALL THAT MATTERS!!!!!!!
What? The Mirage comic is the "original" and the the cartoon was the 1st adaptation... THE ORIGINAL CARTOON TURTLES ARE ALL THAT MATTERS!!!!!!! |
Man that thread creator is one angry soul.

I remembering falling for the turtles when I was a kid because I was shown the cartoon. The first movie was very different for me, because it lacked certain characters and vehicles the cartoon had, but I still liked it just as much. It wasn't until years later that I found out that whole franchise was made because of a comic book.
For a while it made me question if I should have ever liked the original cartoon, as it was just straight up silly. Then with the newest show I got my answer. I love the characters, no matter what form they take. I am a fan of all, but my first love was the turtles in the 80's-90's cartoon. Also, the party wagon boxset is very cool. I wonder when the 2003 series will be released in a similar form. |
wow...the original poster there is one dumb f#@k.

Anger clouds the mind.

It's very hard to take anyone who comments on IMDB seriously. The 1990 movie didn't have the OT theme song but it did have great music especially "The Shredder's Suite". The theme from the '07 movie was nice too. The Bayformers movies didn't have "Transformers, Robots in Disguise!" being sung and the scores by Steve Jablonsky were excellent. If this movie has a great score, I'm all for it.
