Should Angel be introduced in this show as a love interest for Casey?
With the April/Don/Casey triangle going on, maybe they should add in Angel as a love interest for Casey. She would be a Purple Dragon member like she is in the other two universes but also like Casey from her childhood.
Casey is always shown to care for Angel so it may work. |
Why not? It might be a relief (and a welcome change) from the irritatingly default Casey/April couple for a while. :)

We've already got April/Casey/Donnie, Leo/Karai, and with Irma showing up who knows what will happen...does every female character introduced need to be a love interest for someone? Come on...
|
Yes, but she doesn't always have to have a male love interest.
|
No, I don't want her to be interested in Casey. Not every female has to have a love interest. Please, stop with the matchmaking!
|
How about Angel is introduced as Angel, and not another female pawn whose only purpose is to serve as eye candy for a guy?
|
People are complaining about too much love triangle war going on with the inclusion of Casey between Don and April.
Now you want to add another "love interest" to the mix? LOLOLOLOLOLOLLLOL  |
Can't we have a strong female character that ISN'T a love interest for someone else? Besides, like everyone else says, there's already that dumb Don/April/Casey thing going on, as well as Leo/Karai. No. Just, no.

Actually, Yes, according to the unspoken, unwritten, but nonetheless official "Rules Of Fiction Writing", which go all the way back to when people were first writing fiction stories to begin with, every single female character must at SOME point be paired up with someone else, because 90% of what human beings do in life, from where they work to how they dress to how they speak, is designed at least in part to help them attract a suitable relationship partner and in turn pass on their DNA through offspring. It's human psychology mixed with human genetics. All fiction writing tries to appeal to the broadest, most identifiable human experiences possible, thus all female characters *must* at some point be shown in a relationship, even temporarily.
In Hollywood it's actually a literal, written, nigh-unbreakable Rule: Every movie that's meant to "sell" absolutely HAS to have a relationship plot added to it. That rule has long-since trickled down to TV; it's far easier to list the shows that DON'T try to pair everyone up with someone else. It's just How It Works. That said, I wouldn't be against Angel appearing as Casey's potential love interest, I'd be against her appearing because this show has too many characters as it is (and slightly too much romance as it is, also). |
Yes, if a female character isn't a damsel in distress she is usually a love interest. Either that or the female character is introduced for no reason.

Baby Tutles has a comic where she is introducing her to the 2k122 verse

Make her Xever's sister who grew up with him in an orphanage, but was separated after Xever joined a gang and end up in prison.

(also make her younger so she can't be a love interest) |
That's basically how most women are portrayed in shows, for better or for worse. Especially when they're secondary characters. The only way the women would be single is if it was a show for girls, like April, Karai and Angel, Ninjas for Hire, where they are the main characters and there are no mutants in sight.

Having Angel be related to Xever would be awesome, though I would think Xever would want to lead her on seeing as how he joined the gang himself. I could see Raph trying to talk her out of it and trying to be her big brother figure since her other brother isn't there for her anymore.

What was Angel's nationality supposed to be anyway? In the 4kids show she didn't have any particular accent, but I see a lot of people think of her as hispanic.
