I've heard rumors of who the "special musical guest" might be. This will be a cool event if that all works out!

This was a HUGE success. We had coverage on NY Daily, Timeout Magazine, and NY Times along with SEVERAL other new agencies were there. Tickets sold out fast. They even got a call from some TV Celebrity offering to pay quadruple price for a few tickets.

The movie started with a live greeting from The Shredder (which was effing amazing). Then for an intermission, break dance battle with foot clan members. Casey Jones freed Splinter from his cage and the Turtles defeated the Shredder. And the gran finale... As the end credits rolled, Richard Usher Jr (Partners in Kryme) came out escorted by the turtles and performed T-U-R-T-L-E POWER live, along with an all new awesome song that is being pitched to Paramount for use in the new flick.

Daaayuuumn, sounds amazing, dude! Would love to see some video footage of this event.

I really hope his new song gets the approval - it would lend a small bit of legitimacy to this, and we'd get to hear some more stuff from PnK (those guys really should've released their album way back when).

On another note, this may have gotten more attention here if you had posted over in the "Official Screening Topic" in the Movie Section.

oh well, it didnt need any publicity. tickets sold out QUICK. they even had a TV celebrity trying to bribe their way in the door. they turned down a LOT of people.
