April to temporaily Mutate/Transform?
 

The reason I asked this, is because we saw this happen to her 3 times in the orginal series, Twice in the Archie Comics and then in BTTS In 2009. Not sure if she has in the IDW Comics, perhaps someone can let me know about that. Do you think it will happen in this new series (it's kind of a TMNT Tradition) and if when? And what do you think she will temporaily mutate into?

She seems to be immune to mutagen in this show.

Kraang water is not Mutagen. On that note... we have yet to see one of the little buggers themselves fall into some mutagen.

Wait....twice in the Archie Comics? I remember her Turtle mutation...but when else?

Oh, man, I really hope this happens.

I guess you could count her Super Ancient Robot transformation (whatever the heck it was called) in the first issue of the May East Saga.

And she did seem particularly scared of the falling mutagen canisters in the season opener.

She mutated into a humanoid cat, a fish, and a wasp in the original toon but was turned back to normal at the end of the same episode.

Fun fact: In the episode April gets turned into a fish, she calls Ray, "Fishface." as an insult.

Haha, little did they know Fishface would become the name of a character 16 years later.

That's not even a very easy name to come up with for a fish mutant. Stars must have been aligned just right when they thought of it.

None so far and I highly doubt it will occur anytime soon if it does. Makes sense in the Nick cartoon though. I hadn't even considered it.

Imagine she becomes Venus after recently touched a turtle. And all the boys going crazy for her.

*shudder*

She should turn into a rat! And splinter and rat king go crazy for her!

Donnie should catch her kissin splinter.. Hahaha

I hope she is immune to mutagen like she is immune to krang water and more then likely the krang atmosphere.

No, it will just be an animated Archie adaption, though Don will surely attempt a one-night stand. :lol:

But with so many mutagen cannisters in Season 2 along with her disloyalty currently to the Turtles, it may take a mutation and rescue by the heroes to win her loyalty back for them.

I hope there is good reason why she would be immune to mutagen. We still don't know what is up with April.

That's not entirely true she was briefly seen as a mutant turtle in the first pages of the April Micro Series issue.

Granted it turned out to be a dream but we did get to see her as a mutant in IDW

Not a fan of April mutating into anything, but if it happened, I'd be curious to see how they go about it.

Kinda don't want April to mutate unless they go all out and make her stay that way for half the season, or at the very least more than one episode to avoid BS. The BS being that after the effort and failed attempts to make retromutagen, Don just so happens to find a cure for it the second April is mutated. Or he'll be 'real close' to finding a cure earlier in the same episode. BS. At least let her stay that way for more than one ep.

Well, if they don't do it this season, then the 3rd season will be where it might happen the strongest.

And I have this feeling, temporaily, she may mutate into a liquid like mutant.

Then all we would need is "Venus" to ask for a milkshake some time later in the episode, to allude to this:
