Greetings, fellow Dromers!



Well, April's tried her damnedest to get into a normal mutant-free routine again. Kinda hard since her dad's been turned into a red-bearded fruit bat or something... She's cut her ties with the turtles and found a gap-faced hockey player to latch onto for some human companionship.

There's been some setbacks - namely one heart-broken ninja turtle and his jacked-up pet blob gone rogue. But she somehow manages to escape this in one piece, and her and Casey take further steps forward in their friendship.

Not that this has gone unnoticed... Karai is taking action in her father's absence, and it could be that she's finding out on the streets that April has broken ties with the turtles. It couldn't have been planned any better.

Are we in for epic April/Karai fight round two? Or is this only going to be another round of mechanized foot soldiers coming to round up our heroine?

I'm sure some of us have some unanswered questions so far in this new season...

How is Casey Jones taking in all this new strangeness? Sure he might like jumping into a brawl, but he must be wondering what the heck is going on...

And then the situation with Splinter, Leo and Karai. THREE Weeks ago, Splinter revealed to Leonardo that Karai was his daughter. All the creepy "hitting on your half-sister" aside, we have seen and heard NOTHING else about this. Has Leonardo shared this with his brothers? Has any seed of doubt sprouted in her mind...? She seemed conflicted in her final scene with Leo in 'Follow the Leader', but who knows..

I have a feeling tomorrow's going to be a serious plot push..

AWESOME EPISODE! I love being a Turtle!

Looks like Chrome Dome made his Nick debut today.

Casey is a true badass. I love this version! I can't wait till he meets the turtles. And the chemistry with him and April is great.

Ok, pretty good episode. I love how the Shredder points out how much of an idiot Karai was for trying to kill Leo.

And for the first time in this series, we see...

COWABUNGA!

During the fight where the Turtles cleverly disguise themselves as a rabbit, small elephant, and some ballet dancer, we see a sign with the old word, so in a way Cowabunga has returned!

As for the episode, a pretty good one (great one if you're in April fanatic), which teaches us the lesson that there are some things that are out of our control, but it also proves that after being disloyal for the past several episodes, April returns her loyalty to the guy is green, which ends with one of the most famous quotes in TMNT history. We get to see Shredder, Robotic Foot Soldiers, the Kraang, Karai, plus an OT favorite return to provide us with perhaps the best action episode of the season so far. The only disappointment was the Chrome Dome design, which while wasn't as good as the OT's, isn't too bad either. It was ironic at one point where April felt that she wanted to be kidnapped. Michelangelo also provided one of the most disgusting pizza slices in this series. Keep up the good work Nick, this is turning out to be a great series!

Does anyone else really hate Chrome Dome's lame-ass lazy-ass design? Is there any particular reason Karai made a pre-mutated Chris Bradford robot?

Nice to see April and the gang back together again! I also liked Casey and April's interactions in the rink, and how he helped her realize that sometimes accidents happen, but you shouldn't hold a grudge because of them. April's really improved with her fighting technique too! The shadow puppets had me cracking up! :tlol:

Each episode makes me more excited about the toy line possibilities! Chrome Dome with Plasma Whip and Plasma Sword, 4-Arm Robo Foot Soldiers, Karai....! I'm going nuts!

As far as the episode goes: LOVE THE ACTION! I love action-packed episodes like this. Everyone goin' at it all across the city. I'm actually watching it again as I'm typing this to catch everything. Great to see April back. I'm excited to see Shredder come back to see what a mess things are...obviously Kraang have an agenda still.


Love how Mikey used the Kusarigama to shoot the other Kraang.......I thought that was really cool.


OH YEAH AND DONATELLO WHOOPED KARAI'S ASS! I loved how aggressive he was when trying to protect April. Never seen that side of him.

Annoying, lazy, and for the first time ever, a re-design I totally hate.

Freaking Casey took out about what,10 Foot bots? This kid is awesome!! Dude has no fear!

I kind of wish April was still mad at the turtles, but this was a great episode. My favorite so far this season. Casey is a badass and poor Karai...I really wonder how she'll react when she finds out the truth about Splinter. Maybe Leo will tell her?

Chrome Dome has always just looked like a robot Shredder though.
